Indy Dream Factory (How to Make)

  • Altough simple its fantastic. Keep up the good work

  • Kinda creepy

  • I really like the music you used and over all story concept.

If you get a chance take a look at my film I used a similar style in on here. It's called Pumpkin Knight.

  • I DID NOT CREATE THE ORIGINAL VIDEO OR SOUND FOR THIS VID CHECK THE DESCRIPTION.. I really really dont want to be taking credit for other peoples work..

  • Ah my bad but it's still nice experiment. It's a really cool look.

  • It's good, but it seems it's computer-generated effect, not hand-drawn rotoscoping...

  • Yea, its diet rotoscoping :P

  • this is... pretty fucking good. I so rotoscoping with flash. Check them out if you want.

    Good job, totally.

  • check out renaissance-movie (dot) com

  • ohh that looks gooooood.

  • yeah heh...I don't know how I missed it in theatres...did you ever find a way to do this effect without exporting to photoshop? Maybe a "trace effect" or something?

  • Would you belive i came into work today and someone else had brought that film in to loan to somebody else..I nearly fell over.

No.. the built in AE effects just dont seem to work as well..

  • "There are no coincidences." It would save quite a bit of time to do everything in AfterEffects. I think it can be done if you build a custom effect using a combination of contrast/edge finding/etc.

  • Thats a really neat effect. What was the name of the effects/filters in photoshop you used? Was it some kind of trace filter that you then inverted?

  • can you elaborate on the process?

  • well put simply, export your movie in single frames, edit each one in photoshop with your desired effects/filters and then recompile them into your movie. presto!

  • by that logic every effect in any prog is called rotoscoping

  • Pretty nice. Stamp effects?

    Plus the production is solid.

  • loving that, has a great look to it.

    10 out of 10

  • very impressive. good work!

  • This looks amazing. How long did this take for you to complete. What program(s) did you use?

  • I took two days.. done with quicktime pro, photoshop and premier pro

  • coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool.
