The funny thing is, at this age, are kids really going to be able to understand what the words are about?

(Hey, I'm 39, and I just listened to this for the first time since I was about 9 or 10, and I finally understand what the words are refering to. I never looked at it like.....shall I say.... a "G-Rated" love song. I never had any clue when I was 4 or 5 or 6 years old watching this what they were singing about.)

When I was in second grade. we were watching this, and we had a fire drill during while this is playing. When the refrain starts the three blasts sounded exactly like the fire alarm. She was confused, it was funny, she figured it out.

I never realized how many double meanings this song had when I heard it as a kid! LOL Also, in the video itself, June could be seen pumping a pedal with a cord at the edge of soundstage to make the 'tilt' sound perfectly coincide with the song's beat.

Having grown up in San Francisco, cute Asian girls weren't new to me. But I crushed on them both nonetheless.

Man,this takes me back! I remember this song came on right after this freaky quantel bumper with the word "tilt" on a see-saw, which "tilted", sending the word crashing to the other end with this loud-ass crashing sound and chaotic scanimation. as a kid it was mildly traumatic. COULD YOU PLEASE POST IT, ALONG WITH THE ACTUAL VIDEO??? I'd totally appreciate it.
