Hazing is banned in the United States of America because it humuliates and imposes trauma on the victims. However, despite the law, hazing exists in fraternities and sororities, and some go unreported because victims is too afraid to speak up about it. Wish it would be different.

If you want real "hazing" just be the new private in an infantry unit. I was pulled out of bed every night for three weeks after about 30 mins of sleep just to do random shit that they do to every new guy. The best is when the company commander got there in the morning to find me cavered in random food, tied to a light post. Good shit.

some of you guys don't have a clue do you? unless you've gone through pledgeing, you cannot say whether hazing has gotten better or worse. And I can assure you that it has definately not gotten worse. While there is still hazing that does exist, it is nowhere near as bad as it used to be in the 60s. There are worse consequences these days. Hazing is not all bad, it just depends on how it is done. Get used to it cuz it's not going away.

the evening news is not a reputable source of information, neither is the internet- but i still agree with you, hazing- although these retards think it doesn't exist- has gotten worse over time, there were universities that did away with it completely but there are still those few bad eggs here and there

@fukeweup in my experience, hazing has gotten lighter each year. at least in my school. back in the 60's, when my father pledged, it was way tougher than it is now. however, hazing today (in my experience) is still way tougher than this.
