ha! haven't you ever studied steven gaskin's farm in summertown tennessee??well, i don't want a "commune" in the traditional sense of the word. i have plans (with fam) to buy a large piece of land.we'd like to build several straw bale structures on the property, have a large garden and be as self sustainable as possible.friends and family would be invited to stay or live on the farm and help, or come for weeks at a time to be quiet/creative/whatever. you can come and help hoe the radishes;-D
we must have a video game area for Matthias and lots of internet for everyone as well. and solar power. and flowers. and kitties. and and and... music.
aww.. thanks for sharing your letters :) I know this feeling. You will go back and you feel so depressed. I had the same feeling when I was in Wisconsin. I was really homesick. That's normal after a half year. You'll pass the time. Thing positive :)
well, there are some other circumstances that make the home sickness a bit worse - some family issues that i really should be home for. it's difficult to be on another conitinent when there is family suffering back and home...;-(
