In the 50s i attended PS 59 (184st Bathgate) therefore i remember very well this area. After my 5 yr stint in the US Army (Vietnam era) i returned, working as a carrier off Fordham Station i delivered mail to many homes here and had the opportunity to meet some very fine and beautyful people with their unique culture from the old country (Italy) Whenever i fly back to the states i always visit this area of the Bx since it brings back many happy memories, i thank you for posting this video.
