  • Fantastic!

  • Amazing!!!!

  • Like, WOW, man -- these guys are HOT!!!!!

  • I WAS READY FOR ONE OF THEM TO BREAK OUT WITH THE MOON WALK

  • After seeing them on that "shout brother shout" this one seems almost tame by comparison :p

  • @turnipofficer amen to that. That performance is the most amazing thing i've ever seen. They break it down real funky... someone needs to remix these guys videos to some tasty techno or something!

  • Wow, incredible moves! Thanks so much.

  • some people are trying to tell us here that MJ was as talented a dancer as these guys here....oh Come on ...do you guys have shit in your eyes or what ???

  • Raymond Winfield is as good a slide dancer as the late great Dr. Jimmy Slyde!

  • niceeee dancers these guys r so sickk

  • The titl should be "So You Think You Can Dance?"

  • OG that Slides in at 49' is smooth as a baby's ass with Shea Butter on it!!!

  • yes, it is... I thought he's smoother than a frog's belly

  • The dude who does the sliding tap dancing is amazing!!!

  • wow!

  • Samuel Green (tip), Ted Fraser (tap) and Ray Winfield toe. I'm forever grateful for their contribution.

  • Ray winfield is my great great great grandfather cousin.

  • Thank you for the introduction ElAminNazir!

  • wow im 20 and im just really digging into the "real old school" music history and it puts the trash they call music today to complete utter shame from the guys and some before them to michael jackson are the REAL MUSICIANS not the crappy musicians today they talk only on sex, drugs, money, cars, women....real musicians talk on the issues that we all face and dont beat down on the other.

  • good lord! what talent!

  • lords of tap

  • It's incredible - i wished,I could do some of that stuff!! Amazing - and so much fun to watch - its pure happiness! I dont even get a normal wing together, let alone a series just on toes. UUUUHHH, what inspiration!!!

  • They slide on the steel "cleats" plus the soles and heels were leather, and if you're old enough to have had a pair of leather soled shoes you'll remember how they got slippery after a little wear. The dance segment in A/C's movie "Pardon My Sarong was great too! Another great dance clip is in Abbott and Costello's "In the Navy".It's the Condos Brothers dancing on gun turrets on a ship. Thanx for posting!

  • How in the world do they slide around like that on the big block thing? it there shoes, the block, or is it just a move there pulling? thats amazing. They do a lot of nice stuff, a joy to watch.

  • Class is in session!!!! Nice nice dancin!

  • that is just the best, great post

  • i remember seeing these guys in an abbott and costello movie years ago! i can't remember which!

  • It was called "Pardon My Sarong".

  • this is so wonderful!! i still can't beleive anyone could dance like this!even after seing that vid lol thanks

  • Amazing talent, the guy in the middle must have started the Original Moonwalk!!

  • Moonwalk was invented way back in 1907 where one of the first clip excist from a silent clip with one white guy doing panatomime and a umbrella.

  • WHERE CAN I SEE THAT VID??

  • amazing! I guess there was once a time when entertainers had real talent

  • Surtout, restons calmes... faut jamais s'énerver !

  • Five stars! Wonderful performance, thanks for posting this little gem :-)

  • great great stuff.....too bad nowdays showes aren't even close..... =(

  • Fantastic :)

  • imap those three guys, especially the tallest one, gave birth to mj's moonwalk!

  • That was incredible...ahhh.

  • obviously ! u can see clearly that here there is the real moonwalker's father. but mj is always BIG. well tip tap and toe rock

  • Wow, simply amazing. The sliding is just incredible. This group is a new one on me. Thanks for sharing.

  • Astonishing. Nothing really else to say.

  • from 2,47 to 2,51 the dance is similar to tha of mj; but he finished this dance moves in a way that this dancer don't make in this video.

  • What? You mean MJ stole ****? OMG! ;) hee hee

  • amazing

  • Whoah! Great stuff!

  • Wow...that performance. Wow!

  • Thanks so much! I've heard of Tip Tap and Toe for years, but never got to see footage! I <3 YouTube, and what great service it does for the Tap Dance Community! Thank you!!!

  • TIP TIP and TOE were: Samuel Green (tip), Ted Fraser (tap) and Ray Winfield (toe). Often danced on table tops and other small spaces, with Ray considered to be the innovator of the sliding style of tap, later copied by everyone.

Movies: All By Myself (1943) and You Can't Have Everything (1937)

  • who are these dancers...they are wonderful..

  • Michael Jackson,Eat Your Heart Out

  • Why must you compare with Mike? Michael J., like these performers, is another talented dancer in a never ending line of talented Black dancers in the history of this country. The "moon walk" and other moves Mike made famous were performed before him. It is not necessary to put down one, to appreciate the others. Mike has helped to erase some of our society's racism allowing other Black performers to reach a level of stardom that countless Black folks did not. So, mad props to Mike.

  • The problem with MJ was he took credit for stuff he did not actually create. He never gave credit to his teacher in the 1970's...Poppin Taco who in fact taught him the moonwalk.

  • No problem! :)
