i can make the basic beat but when i play the bass on 1 and 3 and snare on 2 and 4 it dosnt sound right ??? am i doing it wrong?

to the sound of things your not doing much wrong. the bass is played on 1 & 3 and the snare on 2 & 4. make sure your hi-hat is playing aswell. 2 hits of the hi-hat per beat (2 quavers (or are sometimes called 8th note)) let me know how you go.

i also learned this pattern first but the base on every beat n stil d same w/ d snare counts 2 n 4...dude!!!dat was great 4 telling when to play d snare n base...it wil really help beginners to learn faster...
