I was a guest at the launch of this shuttle which was originally due to go on the 11th March and was booked to fly back on this very flight. I had though about just going home, however changed my ticket to stay the extra day. The launch from the OSB-II at KSC was rather spectacular and i think i would have been a bit miffed had i have gone back on this flight!
That's a neat video. Count on BA to provide out-of-this-world in-flight entertainment. If you want another perspective of the same launch, do a Youtube search for "Discovery Launch 125". My daughter and her husband live in Fort Lauderdale and I had been nagging at them for years to go and watch a Shuttle launch. That morning, on the spur of the moment, they threw the baby into the car and headed to Titusville, where they watched in a huge crowd.

The pilot commented at the end of the flight at LGW that he hoped that we had enjoyed the flight and what would be for us all a once in a life time experience of the shuttle launch
