  • wtf they killed this ride!!? this was by far one of busch's greatest. i only got to ride it once!! dammit that blows.

  • @selfdestructstarfuck From what I understand, it was a safety issue. When the ride was originally built, the tracks were welded to the supports instead of being bolted like most of them are today. They had to constantly keep repairing the ride especially on the last drop over the water. Atleast that's what I've been told. I myself rode it three or four times when I was there in 2006 and it still ranks as one of the best suspended coasters I've been on. BBW was also best ridden at night as well

  • @selfdestructstarfuck I am a local of the Hampton Roads area, and the community was furious with this. But BG announced, it was a saftey issue. It was a waste of money repairing it every some odd year.

  • mom3

  • when will bush gardens relize nobody wants to go to their park cause the food sucks and their are not enough trill rides!

  • @tslabjr7 Well, they just applied for a height restriction waiver to build a 230ft lauch tower and there's a rumor that the BBW site may be used for a B&M Flying coaster.

  • @woodencoasterfan yes that flying coaster will be the recreation of bbw. the theme is still in place. the supports are still in place, look at google earth they are not going to completely destroy probably there best themed coaster of all.

  • @woodencoasterfan whats a launch tower? and where did u hear of the flying coaster rumor?

  • @Alukart117 A launch/drop tower is basically a tall tower where riders sit in a carrige and they either get launched upward or riders are pulled to the top and dropped. I heard all this through word of mouth from other roller coaster enthusiasts and the Internet.

  • @woodencoasterfan oooo ok thx man

  • I heard they might keep the final drop up as a tribute to the BBW. Already one train and 60 ft of track has been donated to a museum.

  • Its so sad to see this ride go. R.I.P. Big Bad Wolf, you will forever be missed.

  • Yes it is, I was really shocked when I heard the news on Screamscape. RIP BBW.

There are currently four suspended coasters from Arrow Dynamics. They are Ninja at SFMM, Flight Deck (once known as Top Gun) at KI, and Iron Dragon (aka Draggin Iron) at CP. Next year there will only be three.

  • Aww, I wish I lived in America.

We don't have anything like the Worlds of Discovery here in the UK, our theme parks suck compared to yours.

Do they have animals at BGW?

I have only ever been to the Busch Gardens in Tampa.

  • Yes, they do have animals at BGE (aka BGW) but not as many. I only saw the American Bald Eagles and European Wolfs as well as the performing pets show. BGA in Tampa has much more animal exibits.

  • I love your vid. Looks like an amazing arrow.

  • Thanks. It's one of the best suspended coasters in the world. Ninja at SFMM comes a very close second.

  • Nice Video, I really hope to make it to BGE, and KD one of these Days.

  • BGE is a really nice park with some really great rides, but be prepared to do some climbing. Especially if you want to go down to the river to see Nessies famous interlocking loops. I'e never been to KD but I plan on going in the near future.

  • Sorry for the dumb question but what is KD?

  • Kings Dominion, a Park like 1 Hour from BGE.

  • It's short for King's Dominion which is about an hour west of Busch Gardens Europe (BGE).

  • Great vid.

  • Thanks :)
