  • i was hoping to see the bird blow up but no not this video :( wat team is he on anyway?

  • the other players must have intentionally thrown at the birds.. this is pure accident.. freak 1 in a billion type thing

  • Man throws ball.....wow

  • @JustinRSoles Yup, just as the title says -- no surprises

  • @chriscreamer i agree with u, all it says is randy johnson pitching.. what else do u expect?

  • Johnson did most smooth pitching ever in MLB.

  • 28 people must've been struck out by Johnson

  • randy johnson struck out chuck norris with TWO pitches

  • I was at this game, Gustavo Chacin got the win.

  • ummm... not sure why this has this many views lol.

  • @SupraTurbo12 Likewise

  • @SupraTurbo12 People think it's going to be the video of him hitting the bird

  • Does anybody know were i could find a video of when Randy hit the bird?

  • Shit, watch the damn pitcher! hes a good one. Enough about him hitting a bird, it was out of his power, let it be.

  • Randy Johnson one of the greated pitchers in the history of the MLB I think 1 more year for him if not retire either way he is going to the hall of fame on the first chance he gets

  • I was at that game. Upper Deck in Left Field. If I remember correctly, Troy Glaus had 2 home runs, Giambi and A-Rod had back to back homers against Chacin, and Damon had a couple of good catches at the wall.

  • i really dont care where randy goes. he's my favorite pitcher and i am a yankees fan. when i was younger randy used to pitch up to 100 mph and 99 96 and 95. in one of the games when he was in the D-Backs. GO RANDY!!!

  • his hardest slider ever caught was a 101, can you imagine hittin that? xD first the speed of a fastball add the rotation of a slider, you got a deadly pitch. not to mention his fastball was really up there back in the day, he really is one of the best ever.

  • Congratulations Randy on your 300th Victory!

  • Oh yeah...Randy Johnson is Definitely not a "Real Ballplayer". Look Up His Stats Bitch. He's Looking for his 300th Career Win. And He's In Second Place for Most Strikeouts In a Career.

  • Are we aloud cameras in the rogers center since im going to see a concert at the rogers center but i want to know if im aloud using cameras, thanks

    Nick

  • i dont remeber and i live in toronto

  • Stay in the NL west you bitch. You never could cut in the AL east where real ball players play.

  • you mean where real money is spent to get ball players?

  • Get angry! GET ANGRY! Who cares, why are you so worked up. You guys used to be boys?

  • randy johnson started his carrer in the AL you idoit learn bout baseball

  • GO SOX!

  • He started with the Montreal Expos which were National League actually. Played 2 seasons then was traded to Seattle for Mark Langston.

  • i wasted my time on this shit!

  • boringg

  • what a surprise...randy pictching in NY with a runner at third

  • lol

  • He Lived In Livermore California for most of his life!!

  • Man i wish i was there! i live in toronto and randy johnson's my fav player

  • In his prime, Randy Johnson-along with Bob Gibson in his-was as dominant a pitcher as I've ever seen [I came along a little too late to see Koufax].

  • i think he does a little more then just "get by"

cy young, world series mvp= legit!

  • Ya cricket is really going to take the world by storm...

  • NICE

  • waw.. you americans have such exciting games over there.. >.>

'football' I guess is the most exciting..

  • Actually, American football sucks ass... baseball is awesome, though because you only have to have talent in the game and there are really no physical requirements. Besides, do you know how many people can throw as fast as Randy Johnson? You can count them on one hand.

  • not saying you don't need talent :P just saying it's a bit boring to watch imo :P

playing it would be a bit better I guess.. but I'd never go watch one.. football I would because we play rugby.. not as much contact I guess but still close enough :P

but I have just the slightest idea how it's played.. but idk the words.. like linebacker? is it? wtf he do? haha and why they shout numbers on a hike?

  • linebacker plays behind the defensive linemen. he is the one that makes most of the tackles

  • yeah and would crush any cricket player the numbers are players and theyre shouting plays to the specified jersy numbers

  • Wow... no they arent. If you dont know anything about football please dont tell other people wrong information...

  • ur gay doorknob

  • I've seen Little Leaguers with much better form than that.

  • youre a dick randy johnson is the shit

  • yeah but randy johnson isnt a nice guy, hes mean to the fans :(

  • ru sure

  • No, he's only mean to the annoying ass Media.

  • And to his "secret" daughter.

  • hes the UNIT

  • good mechanics are much harder to maintain when your over 40 years old and almost 7 feet tall.....

  • He has no technique, no wonder he got the shit kicked out of him this game.

  • really? have you played professional baseball? or any competitive sports for that matter? He'd strike your ass out

  • Chill the fuck out.

  • you know, it's quite easy to criticize and comment on professional or collegiate athletes. however, many do not realize the work that is put in and the amount of talent these athletes have. I am very much CHILLING THE FUCK OUT.

  • I wasn't disrespecting any of these athletes. I was simply stating that Randy Johnson has horrible mechanics, but he is gifted in that he has long legs and arms, so that he can get more levrage and thus more velocity on his fastball. Besides it's fair game to criticize him cause he's not much of a class act.

  • He's one of the best pitchers to ever fucking pitch..

  • Far from it. Anyways he does have some of the worst technique I have ever seen, but I guess he gets by because he is tall.

  • the guy is like 40...40! Get off his sac dude

  • You still are fuming so relax.

  • you go to rockville. im going to kill you. goodbye

  • yes its true hit like blew up a bird when pitching, find it on youtube and watch it

  • yes we know he hit the bird, but the debate here is whether or not he was fined for it...

randy johnson hit a bird, randy johnson was NOT fined for hitting the bird.

dave winfield hit a bird, winfield was initially charged for this but that was dropped.

there was another pitcher who threw a ball at an owl in that same spring training who was charged for it, but that was NOT randy johnson

  • @chriscreamer you're missing the point. manu ginobli knocked out a bat. and just had to get a rabies shot

  • He got a fine for hitting a bird that flew over the plate when he delivered the ball?

  • no he did not

  • lol, go jayS!; i saw the randy johnson video....and yankees have roger clemens who's old also.

  • Baseball's ugliest player: Randy Johnson

    ...by 6-foot-10.

  • I'm still glad we got rid of him. He's too old.

  • i remenber when frank menechino used to take unit deep a lot at the dome.

  • oh thats Odd, because i think it was FAN 590, the people were laughing at how stupid it was for a fine. but ya i could be wrong.

  • ya he actually did get a fine, i was listening on the radio and they were talking about it.

  • ya he actually didn't... you must be thinking of the time dave winfield was fined and arrested for hitting a bird... or the time some scrub pitcher threw a ball at an owl during practice around the same time -- he was fined, johnson received no penalty

  • i remember when he hit the bird, it was kinda funny he got a fine for it.

  • he wasn't fined for that

  • hes great pitcher

  • F.Y.I. hes not idiot

  • Try baseball reference kid.
