I bought one to help a friend who has terrible panic attacks and anxiety. She took an instant liking to it, and has used it to calm herself and even fall into a peaceful sleep several times, and she's only had it a little over a week! So I bought another one for myself , too. There is no doubt that it is effective. It seems very well thought out overall, but of course I can't comment on the durability of the unit yet, time will tell on that.
