  • Did a google search....they dont sell that device anymore lol

  • If I wasn't able to mount pogoplug as a virtual drive in linux, I'd throw it in the trash! The first android pogoplug app hardly worked, but at least I could view .avi files. The new app has a pop up that says"must have video player that supports .avi files",although with the original app I used the default video player on my elocity a7 and it played these files just fine. Don't buy this thing.

  • first I thought it was great, like the SheevaPlug. A device that is a server that hosts your files. Then I saw : "go to my.pogoplug.com to see your files", "the pogoplug application", 100$, etc. And now I know that it's crap.

  • I have a PogoPlug and I figured out how to host my own website on a USB stick with its own domain works really well

  • this is a great way for pogoplug to access you data

  • It's a product for idiots...

  • @uraijit Why? BC it's not complex? FUCK YOU.

  • @Ryguy1450

Basically because you can do this with virtually any router made in the past 5 years, and any computer with an internet connection. So if you're paying real money for this product, you're paying an 'Idiot tax'.

    Cheers!

  • Hi Wayne,

can you play "VOB" dvd files on the iphone?

  • Tonido Plug has much better software that does far more!

  • Great device. Can add apps like media server or web server or torrent. Basically a really small linux computer. Device is very open (hackable). Getting the TonidoPlug. Similar device as the Pogoplug.

  • This is Amazing

will it Play downloaded Movies of 2/3gb on PPC ?

& how will we play the Movies in WMP or Core player ?

  • bloody awesome, i want one of these. want to use it as a webserver as well.

  • i have a feeling ur from toronto

  • not sure if I get it ... it looks like a file sharing device. but if that is the case ... why do then need a h/w ... they can just set up a FTP sit and allow clients to up load files ...

    am i missing somthing?

  • You have to plug a drive into it. It's sort of like a NAS (Networked Attached Storage), but with the networked part separate from your hard drive.

  • most people can't set up an ftp, and more people can use a pogoplug.

  • Drool.
