@MsValkyrie13 Because you ask such silly questions! If you even have the tiniest idea that you suck in your head that's what will happen. You need to change your attitude from the start and only look for the good parts of your drawing. Th bits that didn't work so well are just the bits where youi learned to get it right next time :) I'm going to do a video about this this week - subscribe and watch! :)_

Thanks so much for this! I'm an art student, and I decided I would draw individual Christmas cards for my friends--but I was a bit flummoxed when it came to deciding a design. I wanted a fun and not-necessarily-realistic tree, but all I could come up with were the grade-school-type trees or the swift, abstract kind.

This made for a perfect balance. I took the basic ideas, did a bit with a background, showed it to a friend, and it was a hit!

@StoryNClark That's terrific. It's what we all do - see how others have worked it out and adapt to suit the way we work. you can probably trace this drawing all the way back to a cave painting somewhere!

@88artgirl They're Staedtler Noris watercolour pencils. Nice and soft and if you wet them you can use them like watercolours.
