i dont really mind about the wrong details in the third doctor's costume, its a nice varient for people who make figure adventures, such as you. but if you're remaking scenes its a bit of a problem.

The Hankie is definitely in the sea devils if you watch the episode you can see it when the Doctor is tied to the chair in the cell while Jo tries to get to him.

on 7:29 in the vid you are on about the coller. i was watching more than 30 years in the tardis and there is a clip of the 3rd dr and jo grant and he is in the tardis and you can jest see a wight triangle

just thought i would mention the collar/lapell is shaped like that on all 3rd doctors because of the cloak, it makes it eaiser for the cloak to fit on, as for the handkerchief i am clueless why they placed that on, it just looks odd, great review, can i ask whats that thing around Jon's neck, where he usually wears a bow tie. i would much Appreciate if you can give me the real name, but a great review, you did everything on the figure 10/10 (:

Its hard to decide which Jon Pertwee figure to buy. However as always with these figures, I have to have all the doctor's, including the diff variants. They are being a bit sneaky with these two packs, upping the costs somewhat, as casual collectors suffer with the steep price tags. But a least they are exclusives, and actually available, so can't complain too much! Hope they make a future red jacket version of Pertwee.

maybe the collar was done like that because jon isnt really know for the flat or round collar, people often think of the one it is on the figure or stuck up like in the 3 doctors

I'm not sure about 'The Green Death', but it isn't modelled to look like 'The Time Warrior' jacket as it is green in that story.

I have just put the Sea Devils DVD on and, yes there is a hankerchief in his pocket as he puts it back in there but it is not sticking out. Also the coat does look a very dark blue velvet almost black depending on the lighting. However the coat hooks and coller is wrong but in the end it is a good representation of Jon Pertwee.

I have only got the Sea Devil set, firstly because I only want one figure of each as they stand infront of my dvd colection. Secondly Jon with his cloak bristles with the essence of his Doctor. Even with the errors you have to admit the essence of Jon's Doctor is there!

Thanks! I ran out of time to mention this but my theory goes like this: the sculpt is actually his green costume from 'The Carnival of Monsters' and 'The Frontier in space' to name a few. Rumour has it, that figure will be released next year as part of the rumoured Eleven Doctors boxset. They made the figure for the set first and the UT/FP asked for more exclusives. They just repainted them and sent them off to keep costs down.

Great review,I just had a look on the net of jon pertwee from the the sea devils and he does not have a a pocket nor a hankercheif,and iam having these for christmas becuase iam having the maggots ones,but are they a good bye?
