A few points you should consider when trying to go for BO
He played in open E , and used a capo this will give your guitar a much different sound. And to get that feel play it slow and funky with a good dose of Tremelo
Nope, that's all there is. E and A. If you want to play along to the lyrics go to Google and type in.... who do you love +chords .......and you will get lyrics with the chords
Hambone Willie Newborn used that so-called beat already in the late 1920's but BO DIDDLEY introduced it to rock&roll. I think NOT FADE AWAY by the STONES or BUDDY HOLLY can compete with any of DIDDLEY's songs.
To proof I really appreciate BO DIDDLEY s music I like to invite you to my BLUESCARTOONS No.4 featuring my animation &my music in that 1-minute tribute.
Bo almost always used the Open E tuning,(I once saw him take it down to Em open tuning for one number)Playing the riff in open E gives a completely different feel to using the standard E chord shape
Dear Snowhead, You're completly right. I mixed up my Thorogood cover (of Bo Diddley's "Who Do You Love?". Thanks. - RobertWhiting (with a cobra snake for a necktie)
