  • Does anyone have a link or information relating to the drop Myron referred to - caused by USACE dredging according to him?

  • Rice is native to various areas of the world.

Its found in North America as well as Asia to South Asia etc.

  • i wonder if 'wild rice' grew out further east or if it was a regional thing where the rice grew strong.

  • i would love to learn how to gather and plant wild rice! actually i would love to learn all the edibles in the forest of the great lakes region.

  • Army Corps is using the old Global Warming copout to blame the water drop.... nice try guys. You didn't fool Myron :)

  • ugh some people are just ignorant! .....

  • Booshoo Uncle! It was so nice to find you on here. I hope to see you this year at Manoomin pow wow, AML, Toni in North Carolina, xo

  • SPS148669, have to say you are as ignorant as you are moronic, rice has been here for thousands of years.. lol do some more research then come back and comment.

  • @grofit44 You must be a white person whom was raised with no RESPECT.

  • @xXxThatcrazyladyxXx lol respect.... I give respect to the creator, the stories of rice have been around long before 100's of years ago. sps was disrespecting a time honored tradition of our people, "ricing" or canoe bumper boats depends on what age you started, something we are barely hanging onto as it is. Someone coming in here and saying that asian's or anyone else brought this here... No we have been doing this for 100's of generations. oh btw I am Ojibwe and proud of it and a part of it!

  • @xXxThatcrazyladyxXx you ever been out pulling moose ears?

  • thanks for making this video

  • Omg.Can you actually live being that dumb,SPS148669?

  • Actually, wild rice is a separate taxonomic group from "true rice," but they're closely related. Three of the four wild rice species are native to North America.

  • You have rice because it was imported from Asia 100 years ago,The Asians also imported and now grow Corn which was Native American's staple crop.

  • You are wrong. It is a different plant. It is more like a grass.

  • @SPS148669 WHATEVER, But we on the Bad River Reservation have THE BEST WILDRICE!

  • @SPS148669 wow do you have a lot to learn about wild rice, its actually a seed from the plant (which is native to the americas) its not the same as white rice. It grows naturally since way before our time and our grandparents time and their grandparents.
