@trekkian88 I think this conversation isn't going to go anywhere because the music scene isn't what it used to be: good subversive bands like the Stranglers simply don't work for the big record companies or get played in mainstream outlets anymore: only the in-house corporate creatures or older bands who long ago sold out are still seen there. The good bands of our era are simply off the radar and harder to find, but at the same time the mainstream is shrinking and losing power.
