What the pastor don't understand is that before 1928,everyone knew the Apocrypha was apart of the Bible if you do some research. The Catholic church had was responsible for the removal of the Apocrypha. St. Jerome considered the seven Deutero-Canonical books to be NOT inspired by God, but he was commissioned by Pope Damasus to translate all 73 books into Latin. Pope Damasus considered the 7 DC books to be inspired by God. Later in 1946, after the finding of the dead-sea scrolls, it was discovered that these 7 DC books were used by the Jews in Alexandria, even in their services. This verifies that Pope Damasus was correct.

Pastor Smith is one of the few true righteous minister of the Word he is very WRONG on this matter. Isrealites had many holy books many were confiscated, destroyed & hidden by enemies. The scripture says to try the spirit. Knowledge would be increase in the last days says the book of DANIEL. DO YOU THINK YAH WOULD INCREASE KNOWLEDGE FOR THE WORLD and NOT HIS PEOPLE. I guess G-d forgot to tell this preacher that Hanukkah means dedication.It is the REdedication of the Temple after it was defiled again by the Greeks. This dedication occurs in Kislev THE WINTER. The dedication in the book of Ezra happened in the beginning of SPRING in Adar....

An annual festival of the 1st dedication of this temple was not commanded, imposed, or mentioned. With the rededication, it was asked to be remembered (by the Maccabeans). Jesus had a temple to come to because of this. You can choose to or choose not to celebrate it, but saying its pagan and the maccabeans are false is absurd.

Nothing was exposed. Apocrypha is not scripture, its history of the Israelites during the time of the Greeks. Hannukah is not pagan, it simply means dedication in Hebrew. The Maccabeans cleaned and rededicated the temple after it was made desolate by Antiochus as told in Daniel.
