here in belgium im a supporter of royal antwerp football club . we are the oldest team in belgium and where founded in 1880 . in 1993 we played the final of the europa league in wembley against parma . now we are in the second devision with still the very same stadium from 1980 on the television they gave it the price of the most ugly building in belgium . but we know better :) first they wanted to merge our team with our rival germinal beerschot to have a so called better team . but we said no!

The thing is, there has to be all seater stadiums for safety issues. However, naming a stadium after a sponsor is fucking ridicules! I support Swansea City and we moved to the liberty stadium from the vetch which was ok at first because we were told it would be named the white rock and not be a sponsorship sell-out. They decided to change the name for the money. You only get the vetch field atmosphere in one stand which is unfair. Each stadium should have atleast one terrace for fuck sake!

Hi I'm a Pompey fan and we have really come off badly because of modern football. Our club was ruined because of people who don't see football as a passion but as a business. We have been relegated, we have had points taken away, we have a transfer embargo and we have been kicked out of Europe and they gave our place to Liverpool even though they have had financial trouble as well. The death of Portsmouth FC is a travesty, a true testimony to the heartless spirit of the modern game and the birth of the footballing mercenary (Rooney) who held his club hostage for thousands upon thousands. Just got back from an AFC Wimbledon match, a six pointer for top of the conference against the leaders Crawley. We went 1-0 down but in the second half the Wimbledon support was immense and as a result we managed two late goals to take the 2 points and go top of the league in automatic promotion spot. I hate modern football. I am a Newcastle fan and I have seen what money has done to this game. Just got back from an AFC Wimbledon match, a six pointer for top of the conference against the leaders Crawley. We went 1-0 down but in the second half the Wimbledon support was immense and as a result we managed two late goals to take the 2 points and go top of the league in automatic promotion spot. We as fans are not even allowed to celebrate properly if our team wins a cup even a child is not allowed to run onto the pitch and hug thier heroes as the club would be punished by th FA who are trying to seperate the fans from the players altogether! Sadly Ironic the Taylor Report on hillsborough said that terraces are ok just need a upgrade but they didnt listen
