I think this is kind of offensive. I'm getting married AND going to college. I'm a premed student, and we do not plan on having kids until I am finished with schooling. We are not blowing our college funds away. We are funding the wedding ourselves. Let me tell you something, that is a $15,000 well spent. You sound a little bitter. =\ Not funny. Nothing against people who choose to wait until they are 30, but that's just not my life choice. I feel you shouldn't bash people who think otherwise.

People are always so concerned about premarital sex and abstinence and pressing their children to do things the right way and wait until there are in a union recognized by God and when young people do decide to be married and do what's right according to the Bible they are discouraged and get back lash. A wedding dosent have to be the equivalent of a college fun. At the end of the day it's not about the wedding anyways its about the people committing and taking the next step in love

a lot of people in the military marry young. being in the military makes couples' bonds stronger because they know not to take time together for granted because they are apart so much. im 18, leaving for basic training in 10 days, and graduate basic in october. my fiance (who is 20, 21 in november) is also in the military and we plan on getting married at the court house the weekend of my boot camp graduation.

Just because you get married young doesn't mean you can't finish school and it for sure doesn't mean you have to start popping out kids asap. My fiance and I are getting married this Nov, he'll be 20 and I'll be 19, we both work full time and go to school full time, we aren't in debt, and our wedding is costing less than 3000. We're happy and committed to each other, we decided to marry young because we wanted to build our lives together and grow instead of merging two independent lives later on

Abiola, this video definitely spoke to me. I hate to say it but a lot of people in my hometown get married young, and when I return home it's like ... "oh geez ... who just got married." But what I've recognized is that you choose to get married because its what feels right. And I'm a proponent of living in the moment and not analyzing a life decision with a compare/contrast POV to others. My parents married young &it's almost there like 20th anniversary or more? Their really happy && still in love. All you need is commitment, of course there's gonna be fights && arguements but if the couple really loves one another they'll work it out...there's alot of young people who want that ONE person for life, to always be there instead of a one-night knock up && bam gone. This is a positive a perspective in explaining how serious marriage is and why taking your time is important in order to make it work . I was one of the statistics for being an idiot and not listening. It was hell over and over. My stupid sister is getting married at a fresh 20 (she JUST turned 20 in February) to some jerk off that doesn't have sense enough to pour piss out of a boot. This boy is in the military, she dropped out of college, has loans to repay out the yin yang from the year and some change she actually spent getting by on the skin of her teeth, and they both have no money to set up house, and the bitch had the nerve to ask the fam to throw her some money for their wedding? well i personally think that it just depends if the couple is mature enough to handle being married whether it is at a young age or older age. there are cases where older adults are married and they act like married immature 15 year olds. plus i am 21 and married. a lot of people say that we are too young. you know what that is ok. everyone has their own opinion.
