  • I wish had A daughter all my son wants to do is sing show tunes and bedazzle stuff, bummer.

  • Awesome! I noticed she had her gun out first, and her target has many more holes. Good for you McKenzie!

  • my little girl is only 2 but as soon as she can hold it she'll get training 8^) get your nails done go to the mall, be a girlie girl; right after shooting practice 8^)

  • shitty glock

  • that kid is awesome !

  • shes really good.. and they mix snap caps (dummy rounds) in with the live rounds to simulate a malfunction

  • One mistake: The slide release is always quicker than pulling the slide back on a dry reload. She could have cut her reload time down.

  • That is one cool little girl.

  • Wow

    Don't mess with her

Anyone who messes around with her is stupid!

  • Robin Sherbatsky's earlier days.

  • Tht girl it a bad ass

  • Nice! Practice makes perfect!

  • VERY impressive !

  • this is the cutest little girl ever..i want one.

  • Get that poor girl a better gun that doesnt jam so much

  • @like2share Those are dummy rounds used to mimic a malfunction so you get the practice of clearing them.

  • @Paulie771 thank you, i was just about to ask about all the tap rack bang drills.

  • @Paulie771 no, she is just shooting a round thats a little to big for her and she keeps stove piping it. im sure she shoots smaller rounds fine but a Glock 40 is a little big thus she stove pipe jams it

  • Clearing the jam is good practice in case she ever ends up shooting something other than a Glock when she gets older! I hope my daughter enjoys it enough to be doing this.

  • lol, this girls awesome

  • Hit Girl

  • Lethal Weapon in training. Burglars beware!

  • nice.

  • she seems well versed with what looks to be glock. but why does that weapon continue to have so many feed problems? intentionally for clearing purposes? i would suggest you get this girl a SIG 226 or 229 in 9mm, or .40 SW. with the recoil i see on her glock im assuming she is already using a .40.

  • @308fromafar I'm betting it's because she's only an 11 year old girl, her grip might not be strong enough and the gun is getting jams from a limp-wristing effect. It's probably not a .40. Just a 9mm in the hands of a learning 11 year old girl. She's very impressive tho.

  • ok shes 11 but she obviously does NOT know how to handle a gun.

  • @thefrostyblanket2 you sir, are jealous because she is more adept with her weapon that you are with toilet paper.

  • amazing

  • Dang, 11 year old knows basic pistol malfunction drills! I've talked to some supposedly "seasoned" shooters who don't know Tap Rack Bang.

  • shit keeps jaming up on her man have her clean it

  • Too much limp wristing...but then again she is 11 lol.

  • these videos are a couple of year old now! i was wondering if McKenzie is still shooting and how she has improved ?

  • these videos are a couple of year old now! i was wondering if McKenzie is still shooting and how she has improved ?

  • I was confused at first about the 'malfunctions' makes sense now that I know they are dummy rounds. That is a really good idea for drills.

  • ? what is the weapon cuz it seems like it malfunctions ALOT?

  • @the85monkey I noticed that. Probably needs to be stripped and cleaned

  • @the85monkey Looks like a glock, which are normally pretty reliable. I think it's more the shooter. If you have weak wrists and let the gun rock alot it doesn't function quite right.

  • @jkitsunej Totally agree, tho I wonder if it they are dummy rounds. Either way she did great! Nice job kiddo!

  • @the85monkey Actually, after a second view, it only jams twice, the first I'm guessing was just a failure to feed, but the seond time is right after a mag swap, so it may have been that the mag wasn't seated the whole way.

  • @the85monkey looks like and HK USP but she's weak and limp-wristing it

  • @Piehash Its a glock 19....

  • @TACAV lol you're right, that actually makes more sense too because Glocks are known to malfunction when limp wristed more than other handguns

  • @Piehash It's a glock.

  • @the85monkey - Its a glock. There isnt anything wrong with the gun, its her. The gun has trouble chambering the next round if you dont hold the pistol firm enough. When she gets older and stronger she wont have this problem any more.

  • @cvrivcharles I second that, and she cleared the jam very well. It is easy to limp wrist a pistol when shooting in such an akward position.

  • It's things like this that make me wish I had a daughter....

  • @ICPrice i know right

  • @ICPrice my thoughts exactly

  • I completely lov it!!

    keep working!!

    Youre great!

  • I'm 11 as well, and it's great to see young people, especially females shooting guns. What does she shoot? I do USPSA and shoot the XD(M) 9mm :)

  • Awesome job Mckenzie! I'm sure you kick ass now and probably handle the firearm better than most people on here.

  • I love how you're teaching your daughter firearm handling and safety at a young age and getting her in such a fun sport, but it looks like the pistol she's using seems to be having a lot if issues. Is she limp wristing each shot or is the gun being problematic?

  • her glock was jamming

  • @yokhomano

Dummy rounds in the mag so that she would have to perform tap-rack-bang drills.

  • She is so ridiculously cute! Man, I agree with lovelyladynostalgic. Great job, Mckenzie! Thanks for sharing this vid! =D

  • I'm envious. I remember when I was 11 and my mind was far from things such as weaponry, gun ranges and tactical teams. Now that I look back, I wish my family was more involved in all three of those things so that when I'm "of-age," it would be able to handle such things with prowess and experienced ease. This girl would do well in fields needing of such experience if she continues her tactical training into her late teens and young adult life.

  • its a lot quicker if you push the slide release. :/

  • @lastofmykind8

Not when your heart is going 200 BPM and your hands are shaking and covered in sweat/blood. This class is training people to fight with a firearm not beat some buzzer in a competition.

  • @josh885 her hands are not covered in blood, no ones should be and if they are you really should get that checked out cuz thats abnormal. and im not saying you have to be the fastest, but speed really does count...its firearm training and she needs to train everything, including speed.

  • You go girl!!

  • When they say "top off your gun" I assume they're talking about at the end, after McKenzie scans, when she puts in a fresh mag.

The pistol had already chambered a round prior to the mag swap. What is the purpose of racking the slide and rechambering?

Please don't mistake the tone of this as sarcasm. I'm genuinely curious what purpose it serves.

    Keep shooting.

  • @SlowRiotNewKanada

The purpose of racking the slide, is to ASSURE there is a round in the chamber. What if the slide catch malfunctions on an empty chamber? Which is to say your weapon is empty and the slide returned to the closed position on an empty chamber. When you perform a mag exchange, ALWAYS rack the slide, and NEVER ride the slide back closed, pull it back and let it go.

  • @megruda Yeah, thanks for clearing up that you're NEVER supposed to ride the slide closed. I totally said in my comment "You are supposed to ride the slide closed" and I've never, ever touched a gun in my life (which is TOTALLY why I'm looking up gun videos on youtube - because I hate guns and definitely haven't owned them for as long as I've been legally able to).

Assume moar, plz, you know-it-all fgt.

  • @SlowRiotNewKanada

I read this: "Please don't mistake the tone of this as sarcasm. I'm genuinely curious what purpose it serves."

Then I gave a genuine response which was supposed to be helpful, and I get this: "Assume moar, plz, you know-it-all fgt." I guess I confused you for someone wanting to LEARN something instead of using this to spew your bad attitude. Maybe you should focus on something like spelling (moar) and less on trying to show how big of an ass you are.

  • @megruda You made assumptions as to what I was saying like an asshole ball bag. In that respect, fuck you and see you later.

And in terms of "moar", I suggest you lrn 2 internet, fgt. THNX BRAH

  • @SlowRiotNewKanada Yea, I made assumptions because I thought you were genuine, and I was trying to be helpful not an all knowing a.h.b.b. I won't continue to cheapen this girls video and YouTube post by arguing with an idiot. WAY TO GO McKENZIE!!

  • @megruda Yeah, I won two posts ago. I didn't need you to verify, but thanks anyway :3 <333

  • I can only hope to have a daughter like McKenzie! Good job!

  • Love the tap-caps use them all the time, great vid, to the father i hope you read this, i would like to show the utmost respect, teaching your child how to properly handle and discharge a firearm, especially if they are kept in your home, is the smart, responsible thing to do, no matter what others say, i hope people can learn from this, keep it up,

  • don't think I've see such a bad handgun. from this and the other vids it seams to jam constantly

  • @markjz

Its tap-caps inserted randomly into the mags for training purposes, not "real" malfunctions.

  • I don't really understand the point of this. Is it training for something? What reason would u possibly need to train a little girl this in-depth for? Is it recreational? I'm just confused as to why she is learning this kind stuff unless she already has a career mapped out for her, in which case, I think that is very sad. If she chooses to do this when she's 18, great, but to predetermine her path is pretty suffocating.

  • this girl scares the hell out of me

  • What kind of stupid and irresponsible parents can let their daughter use a gun ?!! That little girl should be reading, doing gymnastics or horse riding, but certainly not learning how to kill.

This is completely crazy, those parents should be prosecuted and kept away from their children if they can't raise them properly.

  • @rickou2 its just a different way of raising a child i mean if you had two choices to raise your child would you raise her with discipline and if they have discipline than they will be one off those high achievers and be the maturest child ever or raise her like a 3 year old snooty kid that lives in a shit hole

  • @imdumb10 A different way of raising a child ? I some countries, they enrole children in military groups to fight and make war, sometimes before the age of 10. Would you call that "a different way of raising a child" ???

Contrary to what you think, you won't make a child stronger and more mature by teaching him/her hate, racism, how to hold a gun and how to kill. You just teach how to behave like an animal, not a human being.

  • @rickou2 like i said a different way, its not illegal to raise a child to know how to handle a gun, and also its none of our business togo sticking into there lives judging how they live or raise a child its the fathers or mothers choice to raise her like that and its already been done so you might as well complain to a brick and the country's that enlist children believe its their gods words or just is like that so i guess dont visit there, and how does teaching a girl to handle a gun racism?

  • @imdumb10 Maybe not illegal in your country, but that doesn't mean it's good for a child to learn how to kill.

And if it's none of my business, why publishing that video in public ? Comments are allowed here to tell what we think about it, and that's what I do.

Why do I talk about racism ? Simple : in USA, who are the "honest people" fighting for the right to carry a gun and fire anybody they want? I think you call them NRA, and from what I know they generally don't like whoever is not white.

  • @rickou2 ok lets just stop having this ridicules argument and not every body is raciest in the US and i don't give a flying fuck if you say "I like white people so lets give them guns!" Uncle Sam go out side enjoy life, go fight for your country, or you know cook a....some thing or climb a tree or just do some thing for fun besides arguing like Xbox

  • @rickou2

Ignorance like yours is the exact reason that people like me fight so hard to preserve our rights. Thank God for America

  • @aramilalpha What ignorance ? I am a teacher and I have 3 kids, so believe me I know a bit about education.

Don't you know that in any civilised country you can not make your own justice ? Well sorry I forgot where you are from, if USA was a civilised country we would have noticed it...

And as you seem to believe in God (I don't), I think that the bible says something like that "you shall not kill". Right ? Whatever the reason, you shall not kill. That's all.

  • @rickou2

No. I don't believe in god. It was an idiomatic expression. I do, however, believe in the constitution. You remember it right? You're the teacher. Which by the way, by very definition, makes you an authority on everything right? And if that's the case you should know I'm currently doing my practicums in preparation for student teaching. Therefore, I must be an absolute authority as well. Just because you have a degree and children doesn't mean you suddenly are an authority.

  • @aramilalpha No I don't remember YOUR constitution, I am from Europe and here nobody can carry freely a gun or teach a child to kill somebody.

How can you seriously teach children not to kill each other (that's just the base of human civilisation) if you put a gun in their hands as soon as they start walking ?!!

This is crazy, in USA you give guns to your children, and when they become teenagers you make them believe that love is dirty and bad !

Not surprised about USA's high criminality rate...

  • @rickou2

You don't have to be American to remember the constitution. I'm guessing you're at least aware of its existance, but you're the teacher so you must be correct in all things right? In the U.S. we teach our children that guns are simply weapons and its the idiots in control of them that kill people. My kids understand the danger and would never use a weapon for any purpose other than self defence.

  • @aramilalpha Why the hell would non-US people have to know about the US constitution ? Do you think your are more important than our own countries and constitutions ? Sorry, we don't really care about your constitution !

Now about guns, we have an official justice and a police, and we think that it's the judges job to do justice, not the individuals' one. That's why we don't teach our children to use guns, and we prefer to forbid them except for the police, the army, and the shooting clubs.

  • For all those wondering...I don't see a jam. Freeze @ 0:24 and an 'orange' like cap comes out. Its to help train. Sorry if anyone else stated that.

  • Cute as a button and handles a pistol better than lots of adults. Huge Kudos to her parents for teaching her at a young age. This young lady will likely never be a victim of anybody.

  • As a member of the Canadian military for 7 years i havta say for an 11 year old she handles better than most of the guys after a year. If the gun jammed some still cant comprehend what to do.

  • lol usually guys are afraid to meet dads.

guys will be afraid to meet her cuz she will kick ass when she's older xD

  • If more American girls were like her, jerks and assholes would be scarce.

  • a whattodo ...

I believe I watched another of this families video and they discussed the FTF training. It is a common practice amongst conceal carry instructors to load random dummy rounds into the mag, It really forces you to think on your feet. At the range, you wait for 15-30 seconds(pointed down range) and cycle the bad round out. InTRAINING you cycle it out immediately and move away from the ejection and get on with it. (Keep shooting)

  • @sqrpnt this is true i just was unsure of the situation, whether it was dummy rounds or what?

  • I love the red necks who teach there daughters how to use a weapon invented for killing

  • @bloodlava i love idiots that undermine a parent teaching there child how to protect themselves :D

  • @whattodo1989 Teaching them what? How to severely injure a man? How about teaching her self defense techniques, not how to use a gun...

  • @bloodlava no better self defence technique than being able to shoot someone

  • @bloodlava yes... how does that not make since? the purpose of self defense is to protect yourself from any situation possible and a firearm training levels the playing field when a 120 pound woman is attacked by a 280 pound man wanting to rape her... see? its not used for revenge, its self defense.... things like that happen far more often then noticed and there isnt anyway i wouldnt want to give my child the best abilities to defend themselves

  • @whattodo1989 Off the top of my head I'd say kick to the balls, kick to the knees, punch to the throat and poke to the eyes, and of course all the general stuff that leads up to such techniques; women two heads shorter than me have wiped the floor with me. Guns only help once they're unholstered, safety released and a bullet chambered. Three thumbs up for teaching her to shoot; now please also teach her how to defend herself until shooting becomes an option.

  • @garouHH credit given yes... but time from unholster to firing is so small that just carrying it is deterrent enough for most.... yes lessons in krav maga would be a major plus, possibly escrima would be nice but its easier to find a range that a martial arts center thats not points fighting

point fighting will only get your ass whipped in a real fight, but i digress she should know non-weaponed self defense but whos saying she hasnt already started in that as well? maybe she has...

  • @whattodo1989 I agree for the most part, especially that good martial arts are hard to find. Krav Maga is a great suggestion, Escrima I'm not so sure about. Ving Tsun would be a good idea if you find someone of Wong Shun Leungs lineage; avoid Leung Ting. But, as you seem to agree, there can come a time where getting ready to shoot, no matter how short, is just too long. That's the time when having drilled kicking the guy behind you in the knee will pay off.

  • @garouHH i like muay thai but instead of carrying a firearm i carry knife thats far less conspicuous as well i have a personal defense blade in my car which is why i suggested escrima... it fits me well...

also side note a quick draw skill and shooting form the hip once practiced is quicker than reaction time of an attacker but i still prefer my blade for being that close

  • @whattodo1989 A gun is a force multiplier though I can take 5 guys at once with a gun with a knife 1 maybe 2 and for the cost a gun is a much more effecient self defense.

  • @armypenguin only 9% of military personnel can draw a firearm of their choice in enough tome to pull off a single shot if an attacker is 20 feet away... and you have to ask yourself if your better with a pistol than them... then ask what happens if the attacker is 10 feel away? ... now if your attacker comes in group os 5 or so and from 40 or 50 feet away then kudos...

home defense is a different story cause your not one catching them off guard and a firearm is a great asset...

  • @whattodo1989 My statement was just that a gun is a force multiplier no denying that. And yeah don't know where you got that number but nonetheless I open carry and its about a second for me to draw and shoot not guarentee it will hit but if there that close I most likely will hit.

  • @armypenguin

    I would disagree.

My friends and I have been training ourselves in martial arts and knife skills for about ten years. I would have absolutely no problem facing 5 - 10 opponents with 1 knife. This, of course, assuming none of them are also shooting at me. Thats a different story entirely.

  • @aramilalpha I wasn't questioning anyone elses ability if you read it i'm talking about myself. Though I do doubt that, lets say I give it to you assuming you do hold this level of skill it would take ATLEAST 4 years of classes which would cost a shit ton of money (to be proficient which is the only thing that matters). Which most people don't have now that same person could buy a Hi Point 9mm for $300 spend $100 on ammo and be good to go and they didn't also spend 300+ hours training.

  • Damn, hella nice spread for a 11 yo with a 9mm

  • LOL, i bet she shoots herself in the face by the age of 16

  • @PandorasLuckbox LOL, insecure brit is mad he can't even own a gun haha

  • @r2d23678 wow, is that what you actually think? have fun abusing black people and having no healthcare...

(I bet you tug yourself off thinking about shooting arabs, sad fuck)

  • @PandorasLuckbox your insecurity just went full force bro haha

  • @r2d23678 yeah, bro. keep taking them psychology classes brah.

  • @PandorasLuckbox well do my fellow insecure bro =)

  • @r2d23678 dude, don't start the brit bashing, its pathetic and im sick of ppl giving constant shit to other countrys on here.

and LOOOOOOOL, shit man run away!!!!!! i hope no1 gives her a freakin gatling gun or we all fcked o.0

  • @r2d23678 LOL, america is dying and britain is safer because we don't give guns to idiots haha

  • I like em fiesty lol jk I think that's impresive god I wish Australia had shooting ranges

  • Very impresive! She appears calm and does not panic when the failures happen. She executes the proper corrective actions and carries on. I'm proud of her!

  • Dude, it's HIT-GIRL

  • Dad, Mom She really needs better mags, and ammo a ton of mis fires!

  • what glock is she firing

  • omg its hit girl

  • The ONLY problem that I have with this is that McKenzie (and probably everyone else on the firing line) is pointing the gun straight up in the air to do the scan. The sul technique would be a better tactic as it will get you on target faster.

  • wouldn't wanna get in a gun fight with you. no way!!

  • Awesome, however my thought is that she should be taught to keep her weapon in the low ready position (pointed at the ground not at her head) especially moving. Better to shoot yourself in the foot rather than the head. She has obviously been taught well and I am sure that is to protect other shooters around her but nevertheless, it is much safer at low ready. Other than that very impressed.

  • R those "stoppages" did it on purpose? for "clearing real life fire practice? Her mentor must be a real life marksman. Good work girl, u make your old man proud.

  • awesome again,

    what holster is that?

  • wh doesthat gun jaw so much?

  • Most impressive! Will she be engaging in competition shooting?

  • why is the gun jamming so much? but this little girl is pretty cool

  • @Frankford18 It's not jamming. Theres dummy rounds loaded in her firearm. Notice the orange rounds after she taps and racks. From a firearms instructor to this young girl, GREAT JOB.

  • right on. keep it up.

  • very kool

  • @billybob557

Maybe I didn't ready your comment right. But last I checked, your can't have an M4 WITH an AK-47 like attached to it. Unless ya got duct tape!

  • jam at 10 ur dead

  • dang, shes got skill.

  • good job on the remedial action

  • im 12 and i love guns a have a dragonouv sniper and H&K pistol along with a hk7 and m4 with a ak-47

  • @Scilonthreat glock22 I think

  • how do u get in this and what is it?

  • is the fte coming from limp wisting? Also what pistol is that?

  • The FTE's are from tap-caps randomly inserted into each magazine for training purposes. The weapon operated perfectly when no tap-caps were used. I guess we should have shot a vid with all live ammo. lol And it's a Glock 19.

  • I figured it was a 19 from the other vid, cool stuff. Hope the kid keeps interest!

  • @gixxerguy811 no its better like this, shows she can tap and clear, this video does make me lol that its a little girl flanked by huge guys also training with the same wepons. i think i watched a training video that ran through all these tatics ages ago, .. anyway gd video :)

  • @gixxerguy811 I hope you will shot some new vids. 'Cos you are doing GREEEAT job. Both of you. As you said the world is little safer now. Regards from Czech Republic to US

  • @gixxerguy811 im 8 years old and that girl kicks some ass she should be a cop then swat if she stays in school and can aim good

  • this little girl handles a weapon better than some full grown men I know lol. great pose.

  • You're the coolest dad for getting her firearms training. I wish i started at that age

    Awesome

  • Obviously using the Final Stand perk.

  • Dude, you have the coolest daughter ever.

  • What an amazing young lady! No better way to learn responsibility, discipline, and self reliance, not to mention it is just plain fun. Great Job!

  • god is she a marine or something?

  • I give the highest praise to this man for teaching the daughter he loves how to protect herself and be responsible, and mature and also spend precious time with his daughter doing something they both like... This is a great father.

  • @hotel2seven i applaud the effort, but guns? shes 11 years old. doesnt really fit the picture u kno what i mean? not 2 judge ur parental methods or anything but frankly dont u think its a lil dangerous? at least get her started on airsoft b4 u move on 2 the real thing :S

  • @rktguy Nothing dangerous about it, go back several generations and this was the norm, perhaps not in this fashion but none the less kids where well aware of gun saftey and knowlwdge. Remember when your child goes over to a friends house to play, you have no idea what's in that house and it's better to have knowlwdge than to be ignorant and curious. Not criticing ... I am just saying...

  • @deltabtry yea, but if your kid goes to a friends i dont think her friends parents are gonna like her bringing a glock into the house dontcha think? besides, if anything was happening in that house, 3 things would happen.

    1 i would find out real fast/

2 my kids friends parents would be half dead

3 i would b charged with assault and may b convicted, but people would still like me cuz i took out a pair of pedobears lol

  • @rktguy Your right but teaching gun safety to a child will aviod you having to do 1 through 3. Seriously though when I was a child handling or being aware of guns was the norm. You'll find most children who get hurt by guns are usually ignroant of gun safety and also due to a lack of parental responsibilty.

  • @deltabtry may be, but hey im 18 lol. and asian :P so where im from you dont handle a gun until u reach high school, if u ever handle one at all. we're more used 2 melee weapons anyways, MUCH more effective in close quarters. and also when u pull out a samurai sword on a guy with a gun, he's stunned long enuff for u to make a move

  • @hotel2seven this is the smartest comment on a firearm related video iv seen in a long time, i agree 150%

  • what caliber you got that girl shootin? looks like it kicks pretty hard even for her little arms. cant be 9mm.

  • Yep, it's only 9mm but she was just a little girl, LOL. She does much better now. I should have taken video without any tap-caps. Then her shooting would appear much more smooth. Thanks for the comment! See you on the front lines...

  • @gixxerguy811 very impressive, hope she keeps it up and doesn't stop doing things like that.

  • Good tap and rack, girl! That gun will stop misbehaving when you're forearms get stronger. :)

  • Awesome. These McKenzie videos are becoming some of my favorites....next to Hickok45, of course. :).

  • omg shes the coolest girl ive ever seen!!!

  • I believe that the jamming is due to her size and strength. I am impressed that this does not discourage her and she quickly clears the jams.

  • y does it jam?

  • @megamanex888

The gun jams due to the way the pistol operates. The slide operates best when their is a strong grip with as little movement of the actual gun as possible. Her size and strength are limited causing a cushioning effect and that causes the gun slide to move less effectivly.

  • @reese9902 I'd have that down as a defect. In an emergency a reliable weapon is more important than anything - even accuracy at close quarters.

A weak or injured shooter encountering this effect is left defenseless by those constant jams.

The old Colt .45 and Browning Hi Power never had such constant issues.

In a real situation, this kid would be better off with a .38 revolver. Sure it's down on potential loads, and reloads are slower. But six good ones is better than 1, 2, 3 Jam - dead!

  • Thats a good job, Mac! I my first child is going to be born in April, a girl named Molly. Hope I can teach her to be like you! Keep it up!!!

  • A+ to this, keep it up. Cool girl

  • PROPS to the young lady, learning to shoot, and getting proper training at her age. i wish more adults were properly trained.

  • I bet she's firing a Barett M82A1 .50cal from the kneeling position, too!

  • WHAT is she shooting that it keeps jamming!?!?!? poor girl .... this pistol jams in every video!!! is it the gun or the ammo!?!?!?

  • Dummy rounds.

  • I think it's because she doesn't have the wrist strength quite yet. Such malfunctions tend to happen when someone "limp wrists" a handgun, but I expect this with a young child.

I give her much points though for doing as good as she does, and the malfunctions are just inevitable.
