  • thumbs up if your the 306th viewer

  • Kitty is pulling a Wayne & Garth..."I'M NOT WORTHY!" cute kid. clueless, but cute.

  • youre very lucky that is such a well mannered cat. cats have horrible reputations for violence against infants and toddlers. they attack more children 6 and under a week that dogs do a month. we had to get rid of our two cats because they kept accosting our baby unprovoked. i felt bad for my wife... but i felt worse for my son. were planning on getting a dog now

  • @dammitcrap Yeah because getting a dog is the way to go. A cat attacks a child, it's a few scratches, a dog attacks a child it's pretty much going to end in death to the child.

  • @screwmanx yes but dogs dont attack babies at nearly the rate cats do... particularly when the two are raised together in the same household. dogs are more child-friendly than cats. also... dogs never attack children unprovoked and cats do quite often. even if a kid is outright abusing the dog, it still wont attack, and rather run away. a cat not only will attack back instantly, but the cat doesnt even need the provocation to engage the human child

  • @dammitcrap Yeah but when a cat attacks you it doesn't hurt at all, and it's usually only if you piss it off, like if a child grabs a cats tail or hits it. The worst it will do is try and bite you, which doesn't even break the skin and if it scratches you it's only a little gash, nothing bad. Dogs can tear someones face off. I'd rather have a cat gnaw on me than to be faceless or left bleeding needing a skin graph.

  • @TheSovietX im guessing you didnt read my last comment

  • @dammitcrap I take it you're a dog lover and had some unpleasant experiences with a cat previously?

  • @dammitcrap Not true, my cat utterly refuses to attack anyone. even when she is complaining like heck the claws will never come out. Aggression in cats can be caused by fear, pain, over-stimulation (petting or play) or redirected annoyance and frustration induced. my dog however is very playful and will jump on people including toddlers and starts humping. it all depends on the animal but if you are getting a dog please get one that has been neutered and trained. your child will thank you.

  • @Phynicxs well my cats never really bothered me or my wife at all. then our son came around aand they started harassing and attacking him unprovoked. he would not be near their food, posts or toys and was not taking up their space. im guessing they just had dominance/territory issues. regardless... they would scratch and bite him and even when we got them declawed (much to my wifes dismay) they still attacked him. they never did that to us. cats just arent as child friendly.
