Sato his just privileged to be fighting such a legend.
BRASIL!!!!!! 2 grandes lutadores!
Oh man, brutal. Latin man landed a kick on Sato on ground. I guess they didn't like Sato dominating on BJJ. You can see his frustration when he landed those punches.
i don't what the bitching is about if its legal than its not cheating plain and simple shoot'e box'e (silva and rua bro's) made a career a out of soccer kicks and head stomps

I agree back then it was LEgal....but i see no honor in kicking someone while on his back, especially to the head...Sato should have been more careful though, but a win is a win....although it did look cheap...a very cheap victory if you ask me.
that was awesome I thought he was almost done with the armbar and shows satos great ability for even catching Andre in that position. That head kick was legal back in those days in Japan and to follow up with those killer punches was fantastic. Great video it's what real fighting looks like with strip down rules.

Pederneiras was great. He defend the arm-lock and start of triangle and wait his time.
When Rumina Sato opened the guard like someone in free-style fight a Brazilian fighter told in the "corner":
- Look his face! And he did well kicking the face.
Mandou bem André. Experiência e tática.

The entire point of vale tudo is to determine what is effective, kicking people in the head is effective, there is nothing cheap about it.

That fag should've been fried for kicking an opponent while he's on the ground. You can stump, but can't fuuckin kick the head.
