God, I love this song and video. Everything about it is smooth from the dark setting to the wardrobe to the interplay between Rizzo and Slick (and I love whenever Ronnie actually sings!). Only thing that was keeping it from being epic was the lack of Bobby Brown (who has always had ego problems for some weird reason).
All I'ma say is.. New Edition.. Can't replace them. They present that certian harmoney that noone else can.. You can tell when New Edition is on.. This song was seriously underrated. I think this is because the men have actual vocal talent and that was what was focused on during the song, rather than the beat and music, which is a characteristic of the "hits" of today. Now, it's all about how popular the "artist" is, what they and their video looks like, and the "hit potential' of the "song." Shame.

I think this is because the men have actual vocal talent and that was what was focused on during the song, rather than the beat and music, which is a characteristic of the "hits" of today. Now, it's all about how popular the "artist" is, what they and their video looks like, and the "hit potential' of the "song." Shame.

@tacoque and the 2 people are right,ryan leslie produced "hot tonite" p.diddy managed the group and choreographed the dance routine,i was at 106&park when they did this song and had their interview,however the producers for the entire album "new EDITION" "ONE LOVE" are p.diddy,stevie j mario winans,ron feemster,andre harris and jimmy jam &terry lewis,nov 9 2004.

This clown signed back in 2002. after going to their concerts with swv and i believe guy or blackstreet. he said he was so amazed by them. then he does the deal. later on he change his mind. ralph and johnny talked about that. he was on some wanting them to be young ish.
