Umm, PC's don't run super slow. The only reason ANY computer runs slow is because of its Hardware, not it's OS. Also, you can build a PC that twice or even three times as powerfull as a Mac for the same price. Simply because there is Only one mac, and no competition to lower prices to a reasonable amount. The only reason mac's don't get viruses as much as PC's os because most virisus are formatted for Windows, so that protection in obscurity. Which won't last forever.

Nope, 10% is internet US share (which combines both computers and iphones) overall computer market share is closer to 8,5% in US. But that's just US, worldwide Apple has 3% marker share. An no..they aren't 4th highest in the world, they aren't even in top5 biggest PC makers in the world.
Personaly gaming is very important to me, this coupled with general lack of hardware and software support for OSX makes me a Windows user. Simply put most of the apps I need everyday don't work on OSX

You can play more games on Linux using Wine (wine to play windows games.. a lot of them, but not all though) but there are many games that are JUST available on Windows such as "OpenArena" ! Linux is better for gaming than Mac.. but anyway, "gaming" isnt part of the OS! :P :P
I love my Mac. I lost interest in gaming just a few months after getting my first Mac computer then later got a MacBook Pro to focus more on my web/graphic designing. I love it as it made me stop my gaming addiction. The only game I play is WoW since most of my friends play on it. Unfortunately I only touch that game maybe once or twice a month. Heh.

I have a MacBook, and as much as I love it for normal shit, it can't compare to a PC for games. If you do a lot of art, multimedia, video, etc. Mac is sooo good, but PC wins handsdown for gaming, no question.

The main reason I dont own a Mac is because you cant build your own computer. Second reason, I cant play a lot of video games. Third, hmm oh maby cuz photoshop, macromedia flash, lightwave modler all run very well on my custom build SEX machen of a PC.
CIDER (derives from the Linux WINE program) will change all of this. And the Windows based game will run in OS X without crashing and viruses from surfing and e-mail won't cause you to wipe and reinstall windows (erasing saved games.)

I get your point but No, cellfactor, crysis and ut2k7 are all different, new innovative ideas, just find some trailers here at youtube, cellfactor has it's physics, ut2k7 and crysis has incredible gameplay, physics and looks. I've played halo and i do have a clue, halo is a masterpiece, but there are better games in my opinion. Halo doesn't got the story like mafia does, it doesn't got the gameplay like counter-strike or unreal tournament series.
Call of Duty series is an old concept with a new approach. I like it for a few reasons.
1. AI is excellent
2. When I shoot a man in the game, it FEELS like I really shot someone.
3. At hi-res, it is a beautiful game!
4. If you don't shoot someone the right way, you'll cripple them, but they won't die right away. They'll try to shoot you before dying. I was actually killed once by one of those guys.
no, it doesn't feel real when shooting someone, because they can eat some serious fire before dying, and there are no physics, only animations, only thing that changed since cod is the graphics. and look up cellfactor here on youtube, cellfactor is one of the games that will never work on a mac, because the mac doesn't support a physx card. You can play more games on Linux using Wine (wine to play windows games.. a lot of them, but not all though) but there are many games that are JUST available on Windows such as "OpenArena" ! Linux is better for gaming than Mac.. but anyway, "gaming" isnt part of the OS! :P :P

I love my Mac. I lost interest in gaming just a few months after getting my first Mac computer then later got a MacBook Pro to focus more on my web/graphic designing. I love it as it made me stop my gaming addiction. The only game I play is WoW since most of my friends play on it. Unfortunately I only touch that game maybe once or twice a month. Heh.

I have a MacBook, and as much as I love it for normal shit, it can't compare to a PC for games. If you do a lot of art, multimedia, video, etc. Mac is sooo good, but PC wins handsdown for gaming, no question.

The main reason I dont own a Mac is because you cant build your own computer. Second reason, I cant play a lot of video games. Third, hmm oh maby cuz photoshop, macromedia flash, lightwave modler all run very well on my custom build SEX machen of a PC.

CIDER (derives from the Linux WINE program) will change all of this. And the Windows based game will run in OS X without crashing and viruses from surfing and e-mail won't cause you to wipe and reinstall windows (erasing saved games.)

Excellent, someone with some knowledge. This video is just taking the piss out of Mac, which is fine as we take the piss out of Windows. But yeah, apart from games, Mac OS X has it all over Windows in terms of security, usuability and just looking awesome. Games are the only department that Apple dosen't cater as well for. But mind you if you want to play games, better off buying a playstation. I would say X-Box, but Microsoft Sucks ass, so that is why I didn't.

I know That crysis looks great, because i've seen screenshots, i know that ut2k7 is gonna feel great because epic always makes good games and it just looks right in the trailers, i know that cellfactor has great physics because it is out. Because you get cellfactor for free when buying a physics card, but i doubt that mac has support for that. half a million physic calculations per sec, 128mb memory for saving physics instructions, that's some serious shit. I love old games, return to castle wolfenstein is an oldie but goldie, i dont play games that i dont like, i dont always care about the graphics, but i like eyecandy.

Physics don't impress me. Gripping GAMEPLAY does. I've seen PHYSICS in old Xbox Games! O_O
Plus, when I ran F.E.A.R. and Half-Life 2 on my iMac, they played smootly without a glitch or hitch. They actually performaed as well as ANY PC with the same stats. BETTER even.

Personally, I played many of the most popular PC games. Oblivion, HL2, Quake 4 (PC and Mac), Doom 3, F.E.A.R., COD2, Far Cry, etc etc. most of them were rather overated by "Gamers".

I've heard of Patches. They are called that because they are used to patch up broken software/hardware with aditional software to make them do something that resembles working properly.

I don't have a one-button mouse. Macs have used Multi-buttom mouses for quite some time now.
Now, I'm going to get back to work. Afterwards, I'll play me some COD2 or maybe some WOW on my Mac. Y'know, something to take the edge off of my day.
I'd use bootcamp, But most PC games are crap. The developers just shined em' up a bit and called them great.
Fact is, I'm more impressed by Halo for the Xbox, than ANYTHING I see on the PC these days.

I get your point but No, cellfactor, crysis and ut2k7 are all different, new innovative ideas, just find some trailers here at youtube, cellfactor has it's physics, ut2k7 and crysis has incredible gameplay, physics and looks. I've played halo and i do have a clue, halo is a masterpiece, but there are better games in my opinion. Halo doesn't got the story like mafia does, it doesn't got the gameplay like counter-strike or unreal tournament series.

Call of Duty series is an old concept with a new approach. I like it for a few reasons.
1. AI is excellent
2. When I shoot a man in the game, it FEELS like I really shot someone.
3. At hi-res, it is a beautiful game!
4. If you don't shoot someone the right way, you'll cripple them, but they won't die right away. They'll try to shoot you before dying. I was actually killed once by one of those guys.
5. It IS Halo with a WWII setting.

no, it doesn't feel real when shooting someone, because they can eat some serious fire before dying, and there are no physics, only animations, only thing that changed since cod is the graphics. and look up cellfactor here on youtube, cellfactor is one of the games that will never work on a mac, because the mac doesn't support a physx card. I'm a hardcore gamer, i dont know about you, but a hardcore gamer should have a real pc with winxp, macs are for designers..

Plus, word in the gaming world is, that the Cellfactor Demo sucks both with or without the card. Seems that PhysX is there to sell a $300 card more than to sell a $50 game.
Why not just get a 360 for $400 and play cellfactor and more without some gay card manufacturer going deep into your pants pokets on a Zurg rush?
