Hi guys,I see its many Turrican version,but I can't find that one which I was playing on arcade machine.Before you started you would choose one of several planets to go on.Thanx for help.

Awesome! Its more than just a tribute, its the Turrican-Game of the 21st century that was never made by any big company (shame on them) :-)

@DuffbierFarmer hey, do you see the pipe hes standing on in 6:08? well there is a lil hole on the right, just go ball down there and you will find it for sure, oh and have fun finding the other stages secrets.

Now don't get me wrong, it's a great game by any standards. Still, I don't think it completly reaches its full potential by some gameplay choices (enemies with too many hit points, too many buttons to memorize, one enemy can drain all your energy (was the same with turrican), and it's hard to tell when some enemies are actually dead (fish).

Still, 2 thumbs up, way up!

Best Turrican remake EVER! I remember playing the original one on the A500...

Independent games like this prove with no further doubt that mainstream game companies are failing miserably in game design.

@DebianCultist I agree! It´s not only the best remake of Turrican, it´s one of the best freeware games I´ve played. The game is a little challenging, but there´s some changes in gameplay that make the difficulty quite fair, like looking up and down to know where and when to land. It has all the options we need, including a difficulty option, we can suit the controls the way we like (it´s best with a joypad), there´s a great attention to detail and it looks and sound amazing!

This really is a great copy of the Turrican games but no matter how hard i try i just cant get "anywhere" in the game using the Joypad i have for my PC because i am way to used to using a proper joystick on my C64 and Amiga. Its just a shame you cant buy a old school style digital joystick for your PC :(

You can buy an old skool Competition Pro USB Joystick plus 185 classic Amiga games plus an emulator for 18 € at Vesalia.

I had no idea that Vesalia sold Joysticks for the PC ? .. I will get hold of one ASAP, cheers! :) As for the Amiga games, i already have my trusty old A1200 030/50 set up with WHDLoad and a Scan Doubler :), and my trusty Python Joystick. Plus i have 2 A500's and 2 C64's, so no problem on the Amiga front :) I tend to dislike Emulation actually, i would rather use the real deal.

This is possibly the best freeware game ever (that I've played at least) and a DAMN good Turrican clone at that.

Factor 5 needs to get in touch with the talented fellows that made this and get it up on XBLA, stat!

5:00 c'è una fila di diamanti oltre il "fosso", e l'apertura è troppo piccola per entrarci "in piedi"... come faccio a entrarci in modalità ruota?

It's a secret area. You have to jump straight up from the waterfall platform @ 4:05.

Esistono giochi di questo tipo da consigliarmi, però per pc e senza emulatori vari (poi se ne conosci alcuni da emulare no problem, ma mi interesserebbero di più quelli da pc).
