  • soundtrack is the best. World 6 is my best

  • Hasn't got sh*t on Sonic. =]

  • Ahhhh.... the good old days

    ... lmfao!

  • zooooooooolllllllll fuck ya!!!!!!!!! This game actually came close to beating sonic 2's sales on the amiga. I think Zool would have kicked sonics ass if it wasnt so hard.

  • I never knew what the name of this game was when I was a child. I just called it the chupa chups game!

  • Back in my days, This game was so epic.

  • id love to get this music on a mp3 file rofl

  • It's weir dthat there are absolutely NO walkthroughs or FAQs for this game on any platform (except SMS...).

  • wish they would re-relese this on xbox arcade, best snes game goin!!

  • 0:44 chupa chups plug

  • This game is badly designed. The visible area is too small, and you're constantly getting hit by everything because you don't see it coming.

  • @Owneador1337 That's why I just can't play it. I'm bad at it, yes, but the game itself has the flaws you mentioned. You can't see anything and yet you're a ninja, I mean come on.

  • @DarkEvil87 Looking at other videos of this, it seems that other ports have a larger visible area... But this version seems unplayable. I mean, every time you jump the floor goes out of the screen... What the hell, man.

  • @Owneador1337 Kind of like Mega Man Zero actually.

  • somebody said that zool was about u sitting on a stool in the zoo

  • I still have intro book and round encrypter for PC version :D The best game from my childhood.

  • ZOOL MOTHER FUCKER

  • @MonkeyMagicStuff damnit you beat me to the punch XD

  • Drool

  • I played this on Master System, and it was the worst experiences of my life

  • now that makes me wanna play zool again....

  • how about showing the intro to get aimpression of the game

  • I dont remember this song being on the game... O.o

  • @xixnightwolf It depends on which version you've played. For instance, the Genesis version has an entirely different song in this level.

  • @DarkEvil87 although the song appears on level 4 in the genesis version no idea for the amiga though

  • I like the tune lol x

  • Do you have the other levels

  • No, this was only a single level I did 2 years ago (first video) and I'm not very good at Zool.

  • ooh right lol no worries i've got up to stage 2 level 2.

  • The collision detection for the player is just frustrating, especially during boss fights

  • they set the character zool too far to the right side of the screen, you cant see what comes in front of you .. it all comes too quick,. otherwise it wouldve been pretty good

  • You've just pointed what's probably the game's biggest problem. It would have been a step in the right direction if they corrected this.

  • @azwel

Good point, but I wonder if they did that intentionally to make players develop "ninja reflexes". :)

  • good'ol memories..i feel really old watching this..used to play it when i was a ltlle kid LOL

  • If your age on your profile is right, then I'm even older than you at 22, so no worries there, though some kid called me "annoying old man" once...

  • @DarkEvil87

Hehe..30 years here. It is our generation who fell in love with the snes all those years ago..

  • i'm sure i played this on sega saturn

  • It might have been Zool 2, I don't know that much about the sequel and it could've been released on the Saturn, I'm not sure.

  • must have been :) the character was pure black nothing else, i used to play alien breed too haha

  • Those bees always pissed me off.

  • The music in this version sounds like a wet fart!

  • Christ i remember playing this on the pc waaaay back when . what was with the chuppa chup sponsorship.

  • There were even more flagrant examples of advertising during the 16-bit era, whith games like Cool Spot (7-up), Fido Dido on the Sega Genesis (7-up) and also McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure.

  • My God¡The song remember me the Amiga Version of Lotus¡¡Is very cool¡

  • I played this game alot back in the dack finished it like 20 times but never got bored of it.

  • oh christ now i really do feel old, i played this when i was a kid and could barely read, still loved it though i died every few seconds and for some strange reason i wanted a chuppa chup lolli aftewards... go figure

  • Oh man I MISS this game! The sound track sends chills down my friggin spine!!

  • i remember this game! nice video. played it when i was a kid, you got further in 1:47 than i did playing it over weeks. damn bumble bees

  • That was about my first try at this game, so I don't consider myself to be good in this video. But thanks anyway!

  • The theme for this level is supreme.

  • the blast processing it's not a lie and zool its the test

  • CHUPPA CHUPS

  • Yeah I agree, Sega Mega Drive had the best version along with PC.

  • Oh my god. The memories.

  • i remember this game i have it on the amiga. soo good watching it tripping out on shrooms rofl.

  • omg i remember zool! i looove it!

  • i had to fight a big bumble bee on the pc level 1 lol :S

  • lol i played mine on pc during that time though it is a bit different :S

  • this is like a crazy acid trip

  • Zool is my favourite SNES game xD

  • Oops, I looked away for a second and rated this video a 2 by accident. Sorry.

  • The Genesis version has way better music!

  • Whoever wrote this game was on drugs.

  • I like it ... and for coding you need not to be stoned ... it's not like playing guitar ..

  • This reminds me of my childhood...

  • damn i played this game alot for the pc.

  • lol, actually I eated a LOT of chupachup's cause I absolutely loved the game;

I used to buy this kind of packs that came full of candy's.

  • It was revealed that the game Zool was partly responsible for America's obesity epidemic in the 90's and pampered suburban middle, upper class kids ran to the refrigerator every time they died to eat after being subliminally hypnotized by the candy level of Zool. Shame on SEGA for allowing this to happen

  • The game's still far from being amazing anyway, but you'll find that using the air spin to take out flying enemies will lessen the amount of cheap hits you take.

  • No offence dude but you obviously don't know how to play this game, you do realise that you have an air spin move, and a skid move don't you? hell, for the SNES version I can't think of a reason not to hold down the spin button at all times.

  • No, I didn't even know those moves, I barely know Zool. I quickly played this game only to post this video because at the time I couldn't find one for the SNES version. I don't know a lot about Zool, except for the fact that they released it on a lot of consoles and that they made a sequel. I'll try to know a little more about the games I play before posting videos next time.

  • I remember this game, had it one Genesis. It was fucking hard that I never finished ther 3rd level.

  • Nice Amigaish music, SNES style!

  • zool is amazing. 1st game i ever playec
