  • thanks for the upload, great show. wish there were some on tv today like it.

  • Society sucks, i understand money makes the world go around, however when a person is very sick it shouldn't cost and arm and a leg to save a person's life....Bottom line, society says a RICH person's life is more important than a POOR person's life.

  • Can you upload Full House episdoes?

If your able to, I thankyou in advance.

  • Do they have anything but hard times in Walnut Grove?

  • NO mask, rubber gloves, head cap, or gloves? He can cause an infection

  • i Wonder what a person had to do to be a surgeon back then > 4 years med school, internship and residency? + more

  • This show is the standard. I loved it as a 13 year old, and love it more today for it's values, and old time simplicity (i.e no hi-tech computer/i-phone crap). Life moves way too fast, yet we are supposed to embrace change (which I do, since that's what's left in my pocket).

  • Is this something that really happened to Mary Ingals, or a made-up thing?

  • @mustwinder I know right! They have luck and it quickly goes down the drain.

  • the laughing part was hilarious

  • @jeemz662 Especially if it had been in there!

  • Thank you very much for uploading this episode! Its one of my favourites!!!!

  • Young Doc Baker worse than old Doc Baker

  • where are the pain meds?

  • When the church takes up the donation for Mary, I teared up. There's nothing like the heart-warming moments in this show. Also, I was touched by the fact that Charles was ready to contribute to the offering, even with the knowledge that he would need all the money he could get together to pay for Mary's hospital stay. That shows real love and faith in God. Like the Bible says, the first of ones fruits needs to go to the church. Even in hard times, God was their focus. What a wonderful lesson. :)

  • 3:36-7 tied up C

  • This is pre Mayo Clinic!/ hospital I'm sure that they are implying it's Mayo.

  • going to Sunday school when it's dark at 11:12?

  • @newblseveryday Who says it's dark? Pa says he woke Dr Baker up at the crack of dawn. It makes sense that the doctor has had a while to get up, get dressed, drive a slow horse and buggy all the way from town out to the Ingalls' place, examine Mary, and all with enough time for Ma to make chicken broth. Dawn usually occurs around 6:15- 6:45. If he woke at 6:30, it was only two and a half hours until Sunday School at approximately 9:00. Also, don't forget the girls were *walking* to church.

  • It annoys me how Mary keeps insisting that she doesn't want to be any trouble. It's her life on the line. Wanting to live a long, healthy life (even if it means temporarily being an inconvenience to others) seems like a perfectly honorable wish. Mary shouldn't feel guilty about wanting to get well.

Also, I don't think this show put enough emphasis on the fact that surgery in this day and age was extremely dangerous. If this were historically accurate, Mary would be beating the odds to survive.

  • @Jennafu832 yes but it is a show.If mary had died after the surgery,it wouldn't have made sense for the rest of the show. This episode is fictive moreover even if surgery at the age Mary had was dangerous. It isn't historically accurate at all like many episodes but it doesn't remove the depth of this show,so touching with good values like love,friendship,struggle...

  • I dont remember the train part. They must have skipped that on TV

  • could you upload the one where rose gets kidnapped?? or do you know anyone that has?

  • i love watching this show i grew up with this show

  • @digigirl411 lol. I know right? The writers didn't thin we noticed that. Sneaky sneaky. :p

  • hate to say this but it was all jacks fault he if hadn't been barking at the horse Mary wouldn't have gotten hurt!

  • It was a bit unprofessional of Doc Baker to not only run and tell the Church congregation that Mary was seriously ill, but also inform them that the Ingalls couldn't afford the bills and to request a donation for them. Even though everyone was very kind, generous, and understanding about it, most doctors are not that quick to conceal personal information about patients and their families.

  • STOP AT 10:21 both Mary and Caroline have the most amazing eye's =D

  • 28:11 I sure hope the surgeon at least washed his hands. No gloves, no mask, no IV solution or standy blood in case of bleeding. One thing that hasn't changed from back in the Ingals day were the extremely high cost of medical care.

  • I am so addicted to this show I watched seasons 1, 2, and 3 in a week my friends think I am crazy!!

  • @MarylovesAdam1 it's my favorite show of all time for family shows. The BEST kind of tv is shows like this. I wish there were more tv shows like this now. Technology seems to take the goodness out of tv shows, meaning a lot of ppl are on computers more than ever vs spending quality time with people I prefer spending time with loved ones, real quality time. My values are like the values in this awesome show!

  • WHat happened to Mary that sent her to the Minneapolis hospital? DId the horse like kick her in the spleen area?

  • Wait, so Charles heard Mary fall over all the way at from the creek but Caroline, Laura and Carrie didn't hear it from the house?

Charles looks silly in that nightcap. XD

  • So weird how Charles and Caroline start celebrating right after the operation and write that they should be home within the week when the doctor said they would only know in ten days to two weeks.

  • @dars2607 Remember, back then letters took a week or longer to get where they were going; anyone writing a letter had to factor this in when they put down dates and things.

  • @MenollytheBeagle Still, celebrating that much after the doctor had basically said things were completely uncertain seems odd to me...

  • @deecee4ever,

that epi is called "Look back to yesterday", the full episode is not on youtube - just the highlights.

  • @111knucklehead I don't think so, but you can check my playlist just in case.

  • Do you have the video when Mary finds out that John Jr. is cheating on her?

  • @MarylovesAdam1,

Also on youtube - Season 4 "Times of Change".

  • 16:00- A nice scene with Mary and Laura.

  • Thanks for uploading! I love Little House on the Prairie, such a touching show about family, community, love, struggle, and earnest people. If only people nowadays could be this way.

  • i wish that little house on the prairie was still playing but micheal logan died

  • Am I the only one who noticed 33:31??? ROFL

  • @ddyracer do you have the episode my ellen? if so can you please upload it!

  • Bonnie Bartlett (Grace)has said that heart-to-heart talks with "Laura" were her very favorites.

Melissa Anderson has said in an interview that one day during her adulthood, she was flipping channels with her then young daughter Piper, and happend to catch the scene where she's packed in ice, she said she couldn't at that moment remember why Mary was packed in ice and what she was in the hospital for.

It's not here, only in another language...

  • @Ddyracer I put those names in and i get different things and nothing to do with lhotp episodes..lol but ill look those up again and see if i can watch them im just wanting to watch from episode 1 on to the final episode in season three. because the last person who had some of these episodes they got deleted or they canceled their accounts so i cant watch them. but yeah thank you and okay ill search again.

  • @darkghost86

I know its been a year since you posted, but if you go to wikipedia and type in little house on the prairie, it will give you a list of seasons episode titles. search by titles, every episode is here including movies.
