This game has an incredibly long installation time, i had a PS3 for christmas and this was the first game i played on it and i was waiting for 15 minuites (i had the highest memory the ps3 comes with 250gb i think)

I did get into the TNA game storyline but thats about it the game gets stale pretty fast. It lacks basic things we expect in a wrestling game like the chair is the only weapon in the whole game, where are the tables, ladders etc? & 10 second entrances just isnt good enough. I hope if there is a 2nd TNA game someone else makes it & puts all those missing features in but no matter how they improve it it will NEVER outsell the SVR games

Really? running a kidnapping storyline? other than the magic storyline in svr 07, it's the worst wrestling storyline ever, period. the moves are so damn repetitive, the caw feature sucks, one knockout (who's not even playable) the roster is lacking, I mean, instead of putting guys in who actually deserved a spot, they put in afro thunder. You heard me right, afro thunder, from r2r. I guess midway said "if we have to make a game for this company, we at least have to make them give us something.

There more than likely won't be a second game. Impact did horrible in sales, and one of the major reasons why Midway is going under. Midway tried to pull a Nintendo and send limited copies to stores to make it look like it was in high demand. You can now pick this game up used for $17.99

I think the control scheme is more or less brilliant, except for the pin fall mini-game which is the most frustrating part of every match, it's unreliable and is based more on luck than skill. I think that with a sequel Midway could possibly create the next No Mercy, they have the basics now they need to refine it and add a lot more depth.

I can see what you mean. I respect your opinion and what you think is what you think, but me personally, I wouldn't call this control scheme brilliant. There are many flaws such as grappling and advanced moves like the springboard moves. I like how they set up the finishers, and I like that the simple moves are simple. But if you're looking for genius, it gets no better than Smackdown Here Comes the Pain.

In terms of gameplay, You shouldn't compare it to svr, its just backyard wrestling only in tna impact arenas, think about it, the reversal system is the same, so is the finisher system, And I didn't really care much for the story mode, I mean, they have to say tna is a great promotion, but even in video games its hard to fake that, haha.

I know that, I was just demonstrating how frustrating wiggling the damn stick is. As you could see by the end of the match, the pin meter was going up, meaning that when I was actually playing the game, I was wiggling the left stick.
