Ya know, Sephiroth's last words here always kinda puzzled me. The Sephiroth in AC and Dissidia doesn't act like the one from the original game.

His last lines in this scene almost make it sound like he wants to help Cloud, but in a menacing, condescending way. Truly an excellent villain.

@BeastoFrancisco My friends and I thoerize that Sephiroth wants Cloud and the others to prevail against Chaos here. Assuming that this is between FFVII and AC/C Sephiroth would want Cloud to win so they could return to their own world, where Sephiroth has a plan of his own to become a god without having to anwser to a greater being, like Chaos, at which point he can take revenge on Cloud for Nibelheim and the end of FFVII at his leisure. I don't know if that is canon, but its my theory.

@sasorinodanna13 Well kinda truth. You see, Dissidia actually seems to be after most FF story lines but there are parts that seem as though it does happen before and during the actual games. I believe it is after but due to Shinryu's "reset" their memories fade mostly to some point... Although the part of HOW enemies like Kefka come back. I mean I can understand Sephiroth and Jecht as they have medians to return... I suppose Chaos's time effect did it but idk... just stuff to ponder.

For the most of the game he was sat in this cave crying for his mother to come release him

The only reason he even summoned meteor was thanks to Cloud and co walking up to him and handing him the Black Materia

He didn't even kill Aeris, that was Jenova taking his form

He was taken through the lifestream before eventually washing up, so to speak, in Northern Crater, where he became trapped when Mako crystal formed around him

Sephiroth was influencing Jenova's actions (taking his form), making her attack the team, kill Aeris etc, but he himself never left Northern Crater

I find Ultimicia or Cloud of Darkness harder to fight...Sure, Sephiroth is fast, but if you manage to dodge his attacks, he has a pretty slow recovery rate. Ultimicia stops you getting close with the magical thorn thingo attack, and Cloud of Darkness just pisses me off with the two yellow...THINGS!! Note: It's a bad idea to try to fight hand-to-hand with Cloud of Darkness...
