I was on the Helghast side until the end of Killzone 3. I can understand being pissed at the ISA but nuking earth with that weapon in my mind went way too far. Soooo yay ISA!
I has question, it took the Helghast almost 100 years to adapt to the environment on Helghan, and still many need respirators, so how can Humans just come with no rebreathing equipment, and fight normally?

The ISA humans however, are able to breath in the atmosphere in the same way that one might breath in a smokey room for a short period, but would be damaged internally over an extended period. :)

Why do you guys think XBOX players are the enemy? The XBOX has more exclusives, and better ones than the PS3: Metro 2033, Gears of War, Halo, Crackdown, Dead Rising and Fable are all fuckin' amazing. Never played any of the Killzone games, but I must say I love the lore and backstory, and the Helghast's parallels with Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia.
im sorry. but Killzone 3 campaign is better than Killzone 2. The characters may not have been perfect but at least there was an attempt at characterization i mean Natko from killzone 2 is an example of a horrific character. Killzone 3 has the makings of a movie by the behemoth nature of the cutscenes. The only reason why many look down on killzone 3 is because the gap between killzone 2 and 3 is small while killzone 2 had such a massive gap. its all psychology.

You see his daughter (she makes no other appearance during the campaign), Stahl and Orlock (?). and then, as he continues speaking, you'll see Statues and wall carvings 'come to life', melting because of the heat of the nuclear explosion Visari ordered on his own city.
@AceS4289 I'm sure you can watch it here on youtube somewhere. Maybe you share my enthusiasm for KZ2's epic intro movie, which I must have viewed some 20 or 30 times. The speech was great, I loved hearing the human reaction to it, followed "we will smite the invaders from our skies" when one of the massive human ships is destroyed, and the battlefield where the vectan troops are are fighting but losing, and our first glimpse at the helghan army. It's the best intro movie I know to date!
@sorrysonofa Yeah, I saw the KZ3 intro movie and I got to say you're right. It's not that great but I do like the detail they put into it. The KZ2 intro movie was amazing. I never got to play Killzone 2 so it's kind of hard to say if I liked the game or not. Sad really. I got my hopes up on playing it but I never got the chance. Killzone 3 looks amazingly done I just want to know if the story is good or not. I played the demo and by the looks of it I like it a lot.
@AceS4289 well, I don't know if you'd like the story, but I personally didn't. I thought much of it was superfluous, and the helghast officials were vacuous clichés. Many people criticize KZ2 for it's "weak" story, but I thought they did things exactly right back then. I just replayed it this weekend and I'm currently playing the last mission of KZ2's campaign, and more than ever I'm absolutely in lovfe with this game.

Stahl and Orleck (I think it is) from KZ3 are hollow caricatures, and do the game a great disservice I think. There is no real bad guy in KZ3, unlike KZ2 which had Radec... Otherwise the game is good, but I much prefer KZ2. You should get both if you have the chance to do so, KZ2 can be found really cheap now.

KZ2 is a great game but as for as story teling you really don't get much from it aside from the intro which I might add is Scolar Visari spewing the same old wannabe Hitler crap he does in every Killzone. Sure,it and KZ2's intro are fleshed out better but KZ3 has more and better cut scenes and the ending is more rewarding.

@arestondomable the controls were hideous they were unresponsive and then over responsive, the sniper used six axis it couldn't be turned off, the online lagged tremendously it makes COD look proud, ontop of that the enemies soak up more bullets than a sponge
@etocadet The controls were fine, gameplay was more than responsive enough, I've never experience lag or disconnections while online, it's a game so so what if enemies had a lot of health.
I just realized that this entire thing is done in one shot. There's never a cut to another clip. It must have taken them forever to build this entire cinematic up. It payed off though.
@CookiesAndGuns95 The Helghasts has respirators because every Helghast has this lung cancer called 'Lungburn' due to the harsh conditions of Helghan. The reason why ISA doesn't need respirators there, is because they've only been there for months, while the helghasts colonized Helghan long ago. @TheRevKing MW2 allows more customization in various ways. Guns: Attachments and camo. Perks: Different combinations on your gameplay online. Killstreaks: End the game with the nuke or just get immense kill feed with air support. Then there is single player which is a cool modern story line. All I have stated is my opinion.
@Remeax But where Killzone 2 is far superior to the Modern Warfare games is that KZ2 online is not forgiving of inexperienced players. There is no real reason to learn to play properly on MW and MW2, there is auto aim, inconsistent health damage and everybody can run about 35MPH!!!
Killzone 2 is about as realistic as gets, you can oly run about 12MPH, the aiming is heavy and "jumping" doesn't give you any advantage.... Plus the single player mode is just so, so, so intense lol.

@arestondomable the controls were hideous they were unresponsive and then over responsive, the sniper used six axis it couldn't be turned off, the online lagged tremendously it makes COD look proud, ontop of that the enemies soak up more bullets than a sponge

I just realized that this entire thing is done in one shot. There's never a cut to another clip. It must have taken them forever to build this entire cinematic up. It payed off though.

@CookiesAndGuns95 The Helghasts has respirators because every Helghast has this lung cancer called 'Lungburn' due to the harsh conditions of Helghan. The reason why ISA doesn't need respirators there, is because they've only been there for months, while the helghasts colonized Helghan long ago. Either that or Guerilla screwed logic and go with it anyway :|

@TheRevKing MW2 allows more customization in various ways. Guns: Attachments and camo. Perks: Different combinations on your gameplay online. Killstreaks: End the game with the nuke or just get immense kill feed with air support. Then there is single player which is a cool modern story line. All I have stated is my opinion.

@Remeax But where Killzone 2 is far superior to the Modern Warfare games is that KZ2 online is not forgiving of inexperienced players. There is no real reason to learn to play properly on MW and MW2, there is auto aim, inconsistent health damage and everybody can run about 35MPH!!!
Killzone 2 is about as realistic as gets, you can oly run about 12MPH, the aiming is heavy and "jumping" doesn't give you any advantage.... Plus the single player mode is just so, so, so intense lol.
