I think the Java Monsters have more caffeine than the regular monster because I drank 2 of them and felt horrible but I can easily drink 2 regular Monsters.

Java Monster have an insane energy kick, but I don't like the taste as much as Rockstar Roasted. Big Black isn't sold anywhere around here for some reason, but I think I would like that one if I could find it. For now, I like the Rockstar one in Mocha.

I prefer the Monsters. The Rockstars, which are good flavored, have a problem with the ingredients mixing. No matter how much you shake them there is always some sort of trash left in the can. I have a problem with taking my last swig of a drink and having non-liquid components in it. The Monsters are smooth all the way to the bottom. Both seem to provide the same amount of "energy".
