I think in the times of today, it is a must to lock your doors. Now years ago, we never used to lock our doors, but things have steadily gotten worse, so it is a must now.

Right you are. Murder is not a modern day invention. The times have changed, not for the better either. Years ago, everyone knew your neighbors, and we all watched out for each other. Less and less of that happens because people are moving more now, and really, morals are not what they used to be.

Murder has been with us thousands of years, but in the world of today, the rate of murders, and violent crime has skyrocketed.

you make sincere points...i think there are a lot of contributing factors that play a direct or indirect role that makes it seem that way...there's a book that comes to mind, Freakanomics...i reference it because it looked at issues from completely different perspective...obviously a list of factors or contributors would take long to argue about and some may sound crazy to a one track mind

I goggled that, did not get much info on that, but what I did read seemed rather interesting to say the least.

Looks like I may have to get some money together and buy the book one of these days.

The part about drug dealers still living with their parents was interesting. I know that their must be some who live with their parents, but I know of none personally .

Always good to have another perspective on things anyway.

yeah i honestly recommend the book...it's essentially economics done with great humor and intellect..

i got it free at the library cuz i'm a cheap basterd who doesn't like to pay for things that can't scratch my back and/or help me cheat on my taxes haha

I hate paying for anything myself. I do not buy dvd or cds. I make them myself so I have what I want ya know..Just too much money to waste these days on things that cost way too much..
