It's hard to hear from the shitty quality here on youtube, but if you've got the record you should be able to hear it clearly. If you are familiar with extreme metal drumming yourself, that is.

not really... Im not saying he sucks. But drummers in bands like these usually dont have much techinque. Theyre just... fast... And fast doesnt mean good. Just keep practising the same thing over and over again, only takes a week before you master this speed. Try the same with difficult techniques, takes you a lot longer

not really, its just Emperor cloaked behind keyboards that are too loud, I'll admit their EP was okay, but they're terrible live, I've seen them twice since the album came out, they can't even stay on time with their pre-recorded tracks since Ellyon got pissy and left again. Sorceron and the boy from Nachtmystium need to hop off, and soon.

The ep wasnt great at all, was okay, they changed a lot after they lost Kristen Randall, purely coz shes a dick.

though i have to admit, i saw them a while back in London and they wernt up to scratch to be fair. but i think the new record is brilliant in places.

Randall is terrible, and so is her band. I think the only reason Abifail received as much attention as they did was the fact that they had a keyboardist, and every hormone driven teenager on myspace spread endless praise upon something we've been hearing for years. But yeah, I saw them with Dark Funeral and Enslaved in January 2006, and they did much better.
