  • Joe Crafword would be trowing technicals left and right....

  • why they take him out of the game so early? don't they know he has the potential to score 8 points in 9 seconds?! smh

  • one of my all time favorite moments in NBA history....Larry's gesture was the definition of class.

  • if lebron had stayed in cleveland, this is the type of reception he would've had with or without a championship ring, atleast the fans all over the world will respect him...now, its all down the drain, you cant put "RESPECT" and "LEBRON" in the same sentence anymore, unless you're a heat..

  • This was the end of the NBA for me...

  • 2k13 should put this ALL TIME Shooter in the game!!!!

  • what a class act of larry brown to take that extra time out.. thanx reggie..

  • @indikid24 what most people don't understand is that the pacers (much like the lebron aftermath in cleveland and many more I can't think off the top of my head) wanted to change their image after the brawl and try to get that asterisk off the name and pinstripes from that frightful day. Plus the nba was changing dramatically in the mid-late 2000s.

  • What a move by Larry Brown, what a moment for Reggie Miller...

  • Man you could tell he was disappointed and felt he let the city down.

  • this is amazing

  • Ahh the good old days before all of these spoiled brats joined the NBA! It seems as though people like Reggie, Micheal, Larry, Magic, Bill, Dr. J, Kareem, Patrick, Dominique are few and far between in the NBA now, such a shame. Reggie is a class act plain and simple!

  • Class act by Larry Brown.

  • I am a die hard Knicks fan, have suffered from 92 - on but I will say this Reggie Miller is the man. He went against the odds, he was a great player man. HOF bound IMO

  • @jk08PHS,i feel u bro.Being a loyal Knick fan,i couldnt stand Reggie Miller but I definately respected him as a Knick nemesis and his intensity as well.Im witchu ,i miss players like Reggie,Hardaway n other Nba villians that made watchin bball fun, even wit Lebron as the new player every1 loves to hate, the L is still boring

  • Reggie wasn't as versatile as Bird, Jordan, Magic, but he is still a legend

Im not a Pacers fan, but I miss the guy

  • This is why rings don't mean shit

  • Miss those moments

  • People forget, but Reggie had 27 points, made 4/8 3 PT shots, and was 11/16 from the field in this Final Game against the ECF Champs, Pistons

  • If only Ron Artest was able to control himself enough not to get suspended for the remainder of the year. The pacers were doing great before the brawl.

  • this is ron artests fault

  • Classic move by Larry brown. Sadly he didn't get championship but he certainly had a heart of a champion. We miss you Reggie

  • THAT"S respect!!!!! Reggie earned his place in the pantheon right alongside all the greats!

  • ray allen has 5 accounts

  • YOUR THE GREATEST REGGIE LONG LIVE THE KNICK KILLER

  • Larry Brown gave both Michael Jordan and Reggie Miller honorable sendoffs.

  • Sometimes it's not just about talent, money or championships, but about heart and loyalty! That's what's wrong in the nba today, no whatter what will happen in the future, but lebron, anthony and whonot will never have the same status as jordan, bird, magic, stockton or reggie!

only a few hard and loyal wotkers left in the nba nowadays (kobe, dirk, pierce, duncan...). don't wanna watch nba when those guys rerite as well...

  • that's earned respect right there. Miller might not have a ring but he had respect. A attribute that every legend should have :)

  • 6 years today. We miss you man, your a real inspiration to so many people and have so much respect by Pacer fans if not any basketball fan. You are still arguably the greatest 3 point shooter of all time.

  • This is so sad, but some dont get it. Reggie said had he been Lebron he MAY have made the same choice. That he can NEVER add a ring to his resume. This guy is one of the greats and its awesome the reception he got. I grew up watching him and this was epic. He struggled for 18 years to get a championship and never could. Thats why people like Kobe and Lebron needed help because this would been them. Playing forever without anything at the end. Great respect to this player and a good man.

  • The strange think is, I didn't like Reggie when he played. But now, I miss him being in the NBA. I guess it's one of those things where you feel some sort of attachment, just a guy you love to hate. I agree with slimshaid, the league needs a player like him.

  • If you can watch this video without shedding a year, you are damn strong.

  • I don't care if Ray Allen owns the 3 point record, I still consider Reggie the greatest 3 point shooter in nba history

  • Shit i remeber i cried over reggie

  • ESPN/ABC actually moved this game onto ABC even though it was played on a Thursday night in anticipation that it might be Reggie's final NBA game.

  • Man this guy deserved at least 1 ring... come on.

  • How could anyone possibly dislike this?

  • Comment removed

  • 31 for life.

  • and he is the best pacer ever

  • i remember this live...

  • Wow, I'm not a Pacers fan but this gives me goosebumps. There's going to be alot of tears in the Staples Centre the day Kobe retires. I can tell you that now. Much respect to Reggie though. You truly deserved a ring.

  • This is something that only a few guys in the league will get when they hang it up. Off the top of my head, Paul Pierce, Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki, and Tim Duncan. A standing ovation from the home crowd when they finally hang it up.

  • I can't stop crying, love and miss MR. REGGIE MILLER,

  • i can't stop crying...love and miss MR. REGGIE MILLER, michael was good but so were you

  • this still gives me goosebumps to this day...

  • prince: srry for blocking you on tht other game reg, hope u have a good lifee

  • I remeber this game it was cool I forgot the Piston used to be a good teams lol

  • Perfect ending for so many reasons.

  • It's a fucked up world when Adam Morrison has more rings than Reggie.

  • @TheDodgersAreTrash i agree! oh and i love your id lol

  • Reggie is the best shooter I've seen ever!!!! Should of been in the hall of fame :(

  • 4 people are Knick fans

  • Still to this day brings a tear to my eye,I LOVE Reggie!!

  • Sad but feels good to see the fans so emotional for such a player they grew up with and see him go. Real nice to see.

  • i love reggie miller!!!!!

  • nice gesture by larry brown.

  • miller no rings, but a hero...

lebron even he got 12 rings still no hero.

  • reggie is awesome.

  • waiting for "Lebron James's Last Moments"

  • @RondoTheMVP

imagine if lebron's last game was in cleveland with him in the miami heat. the cavs a better team that time. i dont know wad will happen, but i think it will be ugly.

  • The ONLY man who was a better shooter than Larry Bird.

  • i love reggie, and props to larry for the timeout.... what a couple of pros

  • if Reggie Miller doesnt get in the hall of fame something is wrong with the NBA

  • Knick fan who respects Reggies game. I miss the NBA back then:(

  • Dat wuz real cool wat Larry did.

  • Had it had not been for the brawl, Reggie would have had a title.

  • @UBlazers45 y u think dat

  • Them old Indiana jersey's went hard as fuck,i don't know why they upgraded them!

  • Both Reggie and Rodman deserve to be in the Hall of Fame.

  • @Elmaln Reggie will get in. I think he's eligible next year and he'll probably get in on the first ballot. Not so sure about Rodman though. As much as he deserves to be inducted, it'll take years until he finally gets in. Rodman didn't make a lot of friends with the media.

  • So sad he never won a title he was a class act in my book!

  • Reggie is one of the greatest of all time... His play and character is what made him a great basketball player.... Now if Lebron had chosen this path and not win a ring, he may have still had a legacy worth mentioning.

    MILLER TIME BABY!!!

  • what if miller scored 8 points in under 15 seconds and than win it in overtime?

    i would of laughed

  • I remember this game back in 2005, I'm a pistons fan but it's sad to see a classy player and person like Reggie Miller end his career the way it ended but and I'm very relieved that they moved on to the ECF that year... Thanks Reggie!

  • If there's one player who deserved a title it's Reggie Miller. That man deserved 10.

  • Every great player ends their career with a time out and tears. Every single one.

  • it doesn't really get much better than this...

  • the dude at 0:17 kinda looked like T.I.

  • Didn't like Reggie and the Pacers simply because they were a great threat to the Bulls and always played them tough. But I was a grade schooler/junior high, and years later, I grew to respect Reggie a lot and what competition is all about. He could easily be debated into one of the greatest ever to not have won a title.

  • One of my favorite players..... Rggie Miller. yeah.!!!!..

  • Fun but sad part is. This is the year of the Malice at the Palice

  • it was a sad day for us naptown natives when reggie retired, we've sucked it hard ever since lol

  • reggie is amazingggggggggggggggggggggggggg

  • The NBA is gonna be such trash now with that Heat super team. I liked it when it was real teams battling it out like the Pacers and Pistons.

  • i'm glad he's gone he hurt the Knicks with the threes

  • @Dakdizzy duu hes a three point assasin

  • Riverside CA's finest baller. Much Respect to Reggie. Proud to be from same town

  • Larry Brown=Class Act

  • I hope Allen Iverson can get an ovation like this one in Philadelphia. He deservies it

  • my nigga Larry Brown, what class he has

  • Best shooter in the NBA

  • As a Bulls fan, I did not like Miller haha. But as a basketball fan, this made me tear up a little, he was a great, great player. Whenever the Pacers played the Knicks, I was GLUED to my t.v. Nothing but respect for REGGIE!

  • REGGIE, REGGIE, REGGIE, REGGIE,

  • Reggie gave Indiana 18 years of his life. Nothin' but good memories. Not so much for Spike Lee tho.

  • Regggies awesome

  • Larry Brown = true meaning of class

  • Dude, he still had 27 points that game...the guy could always shoot his team into a game, he was 11/16 for this game

  • not reggie MJ!!

  • the nba needs guys like reggie back. Reg had that heart that you don't see so often anymore. He was a pacer for life, stuck with his team forever and never tried to join a contender in his final years to try and get a ring he didn't fully earn. i miss the old nba of jordan, magic, bird, pippen, etc.

  • ... and this was the day I got disconnected from my beloved NBA. Nowadays I'm getting back, but there are loads of players I don't know yet.

  • @zunino85 exactly the same here. Grew up cheering for the pacers. I was visiting relatives in New York this night, a few days later his picture of this game was already up on the NBA store there. 90s NBA ftw!!

  • @zunino85

The year after when the Pacers lost to the Nets, i almost lost all interst in the NBA as a whole. Still a Pacer fan, but When Reggie retired, i just didn't feel the same. I love Reggie. So much heart, 18 years in Indiana and never went elsewhere. Love him.

  • I miss Reggie! As a Knicks fan -I HATED him! But as a person who appreciates talent- I have MUCH RESPECT for him! The one true great Knicks nemesis!

  • this was after the brawl right?

  • Yes, the Brawl happened November 19th 2004, this took place the following spring 2005.

  • yea but if they had artest they would a beat these dudes damn artest

  • @Hicksatpd thanks for the info on this

  • makes me weep like a baby everytime

  • me too

  • larry brown..classic

  • reggie vs spike, vs the knicks, it was good for the game of basketball. too bad he didn't get the rings. after all, he is from california. and he decided to stick it out in a decidely smaller venue in indy. too bad he's gone from the game

  • it was great for the game of nba basketball. i mean, reggie vs spike lee, vs the knicks; that was good for the fans of either team; made it exciting. it's too bad he didn't get the rings

  • yeah dude. too bad Reggie played during the Jordan Era. Miller definitely deserved a ring

  • What a classy touch by Larry Brown, a fitting tribute to one of the NBA's very best.

  • Larry Brown is a class act

  • who doesn't love reggie miller? he's vicious on the court!

  • lets hope danny granger can help da pacer to victory

  • one of the best shooter in nba history

  • total respect for this guy.

  • This Pistons team would've won their 2nd ring in this 2005 season, IF NOT ONLY FOR BIG SHOT BOB on the game 5 of the finals.

  • great player, made games really exciting!

  • I don't think a whole lot of people understand how good some of those Pacer teams he was on were. Especially the 1998 team. Their 1998 was one of the most underrated teams in the history of that league. That team was absolutely loaded - Reggie, the Dutchman, Rose, Davis boys, Best, etc. I am almost certain that if the Pacers would have won Game 7 against the Bulls that year (and they were THISclose), Reggie would have his title. Sad.

Even as a Rockets fan I still miss Reggie today.

  • i miss him alot one of my favorite players

  • Larry Brown calls time out to let the ovation continue. Now thats class!

  • I've always hated Reggie when he got battles against Michael Jordan at the 90's, but now, I have to say I'M SORRY REGGIE. I didn't know how hard you worked when you were a kid to get this incredible clutch skill . Beyond the Glory showed me the Reggie's other side face. God bless you, man! Basketball fans will never forget you!! Thank you!!

  • Should of won a ring. Fucking Kobe....

  • If Michael Jordan was only 92% the player he was, Reggie Miller would have won 2 rings.

  • i wish he would of won a ring. it should have happened in the year they went 61-21,but prince got the block on reggie in game 2 of the east finals

  • Thanks 4 uploading this man!!! I love Reggie. I havn't been able to watch the NBA with the same passion since he left!

  • feel the same

  • props to coach brown calling that time-out for reggie

  • It's always sad when a legend leaves the game. I was fortunate to have shook his hand and exchange a few words with Reggie when he was in Hawaii at A resturant called Feng Shei. He seems like a very humble guy. One of the G.O.A.T.

  • reggie deserved to win a title

  • yeah as a pacer though. He could've won as a Celtic

  • @8cali94 no he didnt or he would have won a title

  • @pats4lifebb he had a bad team around him yet he has done better than you

  • @8cali94 I agree, Cuz Hell he used to Beat up on My Knicks..

  • The Greatest Pacer ever!

  • why the fuck did they make the pacers court so damn boring now?

  • @agentn9ne

exactly, the Pacers court is trash now. Who else had a yellow court? It was a purely yellow court. Now their uniforms and court are trash, no uniqueness. But i guess, they got it right. Since Reggie left (and they changed the jerseys and court0, the court and the Pacers record has gotten uglier.

  • it'll be a sad day when we have to do this for shaq. he never played on my team but that guy was fun too watch on and off the court

  • they would be no tayshawn prince and rip hamilton and ect.. if it wasnt for reggie he made it possible for the slim slanky guys to actually be a force in the league cuz you know most of the times as soon as a scout sees you first thing he will say hes to skinny he wont be abole to survive in the league either that or they make you hit the weight room ya remember how they was making big deal about durant couldnt bench press his own body weight well reggie made possible 4 guys like that

  • stop including mj god who gives about mj its about reggie miller

  • we know...we just saying if it wasnt for mj reggie would have got even more attention ..hes great

  • Reggie MIller, simply the greatest 3-point shooter in NBA all-tim history.

  • next to larry bird of course

  • i don't know it is very close, i think that reggie might have been a better shooter and offensive player but he didn't have the defenensive and rebounding ability that larry bird had

  • dis da same series wen tayshaun blocked his lay up?

  • one of the greatest players in the game, overshadowed by mj.

i saw many pacers-bulls games, if mj and reggie didnt play in the same time, he would have at least one nba title

  • yo know how many should of could of would'ves was said like that in the 90s lmaoo reggie wasnt the only one ask barkley stockton and malone ewing ect.... micheal over shadowed everybody cuz when your the best thats what you do :)

  • I'm a Cleveland Cavaliers fan and this was as classy as it could get. I have seen several Cavs-Pacers games in person over the years. #31 put the Pacers franchise on the national map of awareness of being a good NBA team. 6 East Finals appearances ('94, '95, '98, '99, '00, and '04) and a Finals appearance in 2000. Reggie is Mr. Indiana Pacer.

  • Larry Brown was at Michael's and Reggie's last game. Sick, eh?

  • so was AI

  • pacers would have won this series if they had ron artest

  • thank you reggie

  • Reggie Miller......the greatest pure shooter in the HISTORY of the league! O yea and the greatest actor too (the way he took an Iverson charge would have u believing A.I. was 300 pounds!!)

  • Hard to not get Teary eyed watching this.. A lot of class showed on the floor that night.

  • Reggie Miller it was a pleasure watching the man. he is a big inspiration. one of my all time fav players.

  • that dude got incredible range and let me tell y'all about where he ranks in the list of the all-times greatest clutch performers....he's greater than many players when it comes to that.....maybe after jordan, bird, magic he's the 4th best in that category.

  • DETROIT PISTONS FAN!!!! i was watchin that game, but i gotta give it to Reggie Miller for all those good years!!!

  • man i miss big reg

  • man this almost made me cry too...

  • another great legend that we will never forget.

  • I cried so much dat nite.

  • man this almost made me cry too... damn i miss these guys

  • still almost makes me cry every time. Reggie was amazing

  • An Indiana icon.

  • hes hot

  • everytime i see this i get a lil upset

  • sorry i have a question, because i was began watched the NBA 07-08, was this time 2005 play-off NBA ?

  • Yes

  • yea

  • u got to give him respect

i was cried when i watched this game

    he the man

  • Man, I'm going to sound weak but, I remember watching this game live hoping to God he was going to hit that last 3 he missed. When Larry Brown called that time-out to show his respect I got to admit I got teary...

  • Best Pacer ever.

  • Love Reggie Miller loved watching him play oh my god like an eye orgasm too bad he went out with a loss and no ring/championship.

  • spitgiezer ur right man

  • SPITGIEZER ur soooo fucking right man, thats what i tell everyone fuckin retarted ron artest

  • im a big pistons fan, and i remember when dis happend, thouh i was only 11 i still loved the pistons and was upset to see reggie go. but life goes on. GO PISTONS!!!
