He actually wished to be the most powerfull sorceror in the world. When he wished to be a genie he wished to be an all-powerful one. It's probable that, since he can defeat genie so easily, that his level of power exceeds that of other genies, who are, traditionally, equal in magical strength, thus making him the only allpowerful genie. But, that would contradict the theory that genies can't give someone more power than they themselves have, so Jafar may have gained access to ..

One things i am agree: Jafar is much smarter than Genie.

If the level of magic is dependent on intellect ,i think the best way to explain why Jafar can win : when Jafar become genie ,he can create stronger magic with he own intelligence (even stronger than Genie own magic )

This part of the movie that makes me laugh all the time is Jafar pulls Genie's pants down and Genie smiles as the Joker and I love this movie too. Thanks for the video.
