the parade is much different now, they have taken out the macarena and ymca etc and it is much better. This is actually my fave parade from all the parks and i work in studios and see it every day!

So, there are people bouncing around on trampolines, performing acrobatic moves, and the videographer pans away every time they start any sort of tricks. Thanks for showing geriatrics doing the YMCA and Macarena, far more entertaining.

Well, I love this parade. It's probably my new favorite at WDW. I loved seeing all the action and dancers and the great music much more than the characters. I absolutely loved it and can't wait to see it again in person.

I never saw this before. Did this parade replace the Stars and Cars Parade at the Studios ? I am going January 2009 to Disney.

Last time I was ther was Christmas 2006.

to slr41260: Yes this did replace the Disney Star's and Motor cars parade. Its supposed to be very cool.

to answer your question they did replase it the star and cars parade has been to movie to disney studios in paris. all the cars are in the paris except for the power ranger cars.

Wathed the parade last week in the boiling Florida sun and the dancers were working so hard-my respect to them. It was so much fun!

The Block Party bash is a hybrid parade. which mean it does more show-stop then parade itself. The parade went through a major cut back in 2006 at DCA, and went through another major cut again when it was moved to forida. At DHS the parade itself is too spaced out to fit the whole parade route in only two stops. At DCA even the longer version of the parade was able to fit in the show stop areas, mainly because they did it by the parade gates, so it didnt matter what speed the floats went.

i think this works better in florida than in DCA. No matter where you are along the parade route you see something, it doesn't just roll past you... it has great show stops that keep you moving. DHS needed some energy, and this is a great show for it!

i kinda have to disagree with you in my opinion its nice at MGM dont get me wrong its just the parade gets totally spaced and they even cut some of the dancing routine like i said before but thats just my opinion

They have just cut portions of the dance routine for the heat of the summer... the show will be back to it's full duration (like it was in California) by the end of the summer. The reason they made what is called a "Heat Show" is because in California, the parade was supposedly downed if the heat got to high.. like above 95 degrees.. and seeing as it is as hot/hotter than that everyday in Florida, they had to do something to keep performers alive. and the show going... haha

The parade seriously clashes with it's surroundings, but it's better than Disney Stars And Motor Cars. I used to love BPB but Pixar Play Parade is a tiny bit better. BPB wasn't a traditional parade, more of a moving show, while PPP is an actual parade that moves slowly down the route and features double the floats that BPB had. I don't see why they couldn't have bought a new parade for DHS. They have the money.

it WAS at disney california adventures and i kinda think they made a bad move here because if you look at the pixar play parade (just my opinion) i think its better if they switch again because BPB has only 3 movies in it while the pixar play parade has all 3 of these and includes the incredibles, finding nemo, cars, and ratatuoei (no diea how to spell it) the Pixar play parade, if you ask me should be at MGM studios and the Block Party Bash should be back at california

Its Better in DCA. But the Pixar Parade beats this. Love Disney World tough! Exept the Magic Kingdom because compare that to Disneyland it stinks! But I still like this parade!

I saw this parade this past March on one of it's first days. To be honest I like Stars and Motor Cars a lot better but I do appreciate how hard the entertainers worked. They were constantly dancing, moving, and working the crowd. My main complaint is the fact that the parade stops and you only get to see a small section of it. I also got a little bored seeing the same four people for so long. You only get to see a limited amount of characters the way the parade runs.

I remember when -at the time- Studios wanted to make a new parade, then scraped it cause of the room issue, then they brought this idea up, but they weren't sure it was gonna even go... Its too bad I don't work there now like I did back when it was Stars and Motor Cars- this looks neat!

How is it sloppy? Not a single parade has ever been sloppy at Disney. They reason the floats are "Flying" down the route is because the floats have to make it from the gate to the first show stop section in only Two minutes, and that's a lot of ground to cover.

A cast member told me there was a transexual performer in this parade now. You can only tell by his adams apple. Not sure which one in this parade he is, but I'm gonna go watch it to find out.

I was in the parade in Cali.... There are only 3 units Toy Story, Monsters, and Bugs Life....The new one in Cali has the other movies but it's not the same kind of parade...

ummmmm are u comparing 5 parks to 1 park??? cuz that doesnt seem fair to me...i mean would u have like to keep that motor car parade that ppl lined up for about an hour in the sunlight to watch characters just wave and slowly go by?? at least in this parade theres entertainment really good music and the dancers and characters interact with you

well this aprade was designed more for california adventure and since the streets over at florida are bigger than DCA it makes a big gap which sorta dehances the best performance and to top that off these dancers need to cover all or most of the whole parade route in 3 stops and also this isnt a very good veiw of the parade...
