although these guys are talents, they have seriously lost their edge and excitment since ATDI and the first MV disc. sad really, that both of them are what they once sought not to be. In/casino/out may not have 100,000 tracks and parts in every song but it was much more "rock and roll" and 20X more fun to watch on stage.

so the mars volta puts together trippy stuff with multiple rhythms, sounds, and time signatures with irregular vocals. and yes it is progressive, because progressive rock is music created by one band that changes styles on the next album. if you don't think its worthy to listen to, good. but don't criticize us because you don't enjoy what our interests are.
