Ive seen a CR Sd50 leading NS 16T After it being a C40-8W then a SD60 from GMTX. It was the normal CR Paint not the CR-Q Current Total 3 CR-Q SD50's. 1 CR SD50 ( Icaught this one >:D)
That dude needs to open that horn up! I can tell he didnt number one because they are louder than that and number two the ditchlights werent flashing. The old SD50's had to be opened up to make them flash.
This happens more than you think. I'm serious. Q-NYCLAC is NS 21G, here is the story: Q-LACNYC (NS 20G) runs-through Chicago unto NS with BNSF power, but it eventually comes into Ohio where cab-signals are required. Since A lot of the SD50's are pooled near Toledo and Cleveland, one gets attached on front (they are cab signal equipped). When the power gets to New Jersey, it spins onto 21G. I caught about 50 20G's over summer 2008 which I should upload... I caught 27 of NS's 42 SD50's leading.
This is WAY cool! Man, it's like you turned the clock back 10 years ago, and you were over in MY neck of the woods instead of Chicagoland! LOL! (You very easily could have seen QNYCLAC here on the CR Chicago mainline as CR symbol "TVLA" -- way hot van train from NYC to LA!) Love the CR unit.. love the RS3L!! Excellent capture!! (Don't I recognize that crossing? LOL!)
Geez, Nick. Now you're praising your own videos like some kind of Roger Ebert for yourself? It's pretty sad when you have to hype your own video so much because nobody would watch it otherwise.
