I think Kane was legitimately injured by that jump kick at 3:18, though. He kept touching his mouth and jaw throughout the rest of the match, as if checking for blood, and by the end of the match he was still nursing his face.

Side note: yeah, wtf IS up with Kane's boots? This is probably the fourth video I've watched where they came undone at some point.

What a great match this was. WWF also had an awesome intro at this time. Masked Kane was awesome in this time period, so big, muscular, and really looked like a monster. RVD also was so athletic and good here. These 2 men put on such a good match. You don't see these matches on regular Smackdowns anymore, but if you did, ratings would be much higher. My hats off to RVD and Kane.
