I bought the Tenor model a few weeks ago and love it. This is the fourth Kala I've bought and they are all great instruments. I really like the sound of this one though and also the look of the slotted headstock. The matte finish looks great. It came well set up right out of the box. To me this company builds some of the best instruments for the money. I looked at and played numerous other brands but again Kala seemed to have the best offering for the money - again.
I bought this uke recently. I love it ! Don't have the same buzzing issues. I chose this Uke because of this video. Thank you. This is one of the bang for the buck ukes out there, plus it looks amazing. Acacia wood sounds really good - bright and loud. Well constructed. A bit light on the varnish/gloss, but maybe that's a good thing.

Hi Mike...is there an option for a passive or active pick-up on the acacia tenor? A great uke from what I hear...cheers.

We can put a Mi-Si simple jack system in the Acacia Tenor for you.
