  • Great series. I was disappointed that you did not use 1 Peter 2:18-21 to demonstrate the point that slaves were treated unjustly in antiquity, though.

  • Wrong on Hitler. I'm not a beliver, but I want to be fair and not lump all religions together. Hitler paid lip service to Christianity in public but privately he hated Christianity because he thought it a religion for weaklings. Hitler actually admired Islam, considering it a religion fit for warriors. Even Wikipedia says this. He worked with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin al-Husseini who raised an army of east European Muslims to wipe out the Jews. Look it up.

  • @dtoiam What's your source on his view of Christianity? Most people refer to a book called "Hitler's Table Talk", which has a lot of controversy surrounding it. There's good evidence to suggest that the anti-Christian passages are forgeries from a specific translation, not found in the original. Also, so what if he admired Islam? Can a Christian - even a crackpot one - not admire Islam? The woman in "Jesus Camp" admired the way Muslims raised their children to fight for Islam.

  • Christianity has not in-sighted racism but wrong interpretation can insight a racist problems within churches and society. If you look at the video I recently posted on my channel BenDenoon look carefully at the video regarding restoring relationships.

  • Christians?

Why not be more specific, you mean WHITE Christians.

White people are known for being racist.

  • @1coolguysuper Wow, that's racist in itself. Now, if you'd said white conservative Christians... lol.

  • @TaylorX04 White is white, I have met racist liberal whites and racist conservative whites.

i guess i just had a bad experience with white people in general, lol.

  • @1coolguysuper "White is white"? Ha, you don't even realize how racist that sounds. I've had bad experiences with hispanics and blacks who think they're superior to white people, but I wouldn't be so stupid as to say all hispanics and blacks are therefore "known for being racist."

  • @TaylorX04 The reason why it doesn't work with blacks or "hispanic", is cause they don't have a bad track record when dealing with other races.

So tell me then, quote me one non-white Christian who says that the Bible says one particular race is "cursed" or is inferior.

  • @1coolguysuper Judging all members of a race by the "bad track record" of a selection of its members fits the very definition of racism. I am not responsible for the actions of other people within my race, nor am I even responsible for the actions of my ancestors. I don't care to give you examples of shit, because you're starting from a prejudiced and irrational position. It's sad to me that people like you bemoan racism while being guilty of it yourselves.

  • @1coolguysuper Hulon Mitchell Jr., better known as Yahweh ben Yahweh, immediately comes to mind. The Mayans hold that they are of a superior morality compared to hispanics. A little anthropology of religion will give you all the examples you may desire. But as TaylorX04 says; what some people of a "race" do does not reflect on other members of that "race".

  • @XheraPhine Okay that's one.

Hulon Mitchell Jr.who believed that God and all the prophets of the Bible were black and blacks would gain the knowledge of their true history through him.

So I guess that makes ALL the white crimes equal to this one guy, lol.

But he still didn't kill anyone or said that whites were cursed or inferiors, he simply said that whites were infidels and oppressors, and how did you believe he came that conclusion?

    BINGO

    Because of white crimes.

    continue

  • @XheraPhine part 2

And as for the mayans, it depends on what you mean by "hispanic"?

Are you talking about the Spaniards and Portuguese? Or who are falsely labeled "hispanic",the mestizos, people of Native and caucasian ancestry?

  • @1coolguysuper I apologize for the confusion. I meant people of Spanish or Portugese heritage.

  • @1coolguysuper lolz "it depends on what you mean by "hispanic"?" why would it matter? Race is imaginary, as we all are just genetic diversions of the same single path if you go back far enough... Not to mention one day none of these imaginary races will exist due to interbreeding and genetic change aka evolution....

  • @XheraPhine Let me rewrite that.

Hulon Mitchell Jr didn't kill anyone or said that whites were cursed or inferiors, he simply said that whites were infidels and oppressors, and how do you believe he came to that conclusion?

  • @1coolguysuper If you truly believe what you wrote on Mitchell here, I suggest you do a little bit more research. Even Wikipedia, as unreliable as it may be, says otherwise.

  • @1coolguysuper Actually there are many black pastors who have attacked Jews in the past, both as a race and a religion. Also Christianity has inspired many black on black conflicts and genocides, most notably Rwanda.

  • @1coolguysuper: "So tell me then, quote me one non-white Christian who says that the Bible says one particular race is "cursed" or is inferior." Youtube is littered with Black Hebrew Israelite types who make this very assertion...

  • @inphanta Indeed. If he actually watched the other two videos, he'd see that those types make a cameo in part 3.

  • It said a he was cursed with a MARK, brown skin is not a mark.

  • @Allina277 What definition of "mark" are you using here? It can mean a lot more than a physical branding, such as a distinguishing characteristic. I'm not saying the passage was intended to be racist, but you're offering a rebuttal that really doesn't hold any water.

  • @TaylorX04 That's just YOUR definition. A MARK means just that, A MARK!

  • @Allina277 It's funny how the bible is literal when you want it to be, but metaphorical in other cases. Are the six days of creation just that too? What about the pillars of the earth in Job? Lol.

  • @TaylorX04 I'm not discussing the bible, YOU are. YOU'RE telling me what YOU think it means, not what's actually in there, and YOU'RE taking a lot of it out of context. If you don't know what it means then you shouldn't post videos about how YOU think God cursed blacks and all this other crap.

  • @Allina277 Dumbass, this video is not MY views on the subject. I'm quoting from the writings of early Christians who interpreted these verses in a racist manner. It's THEIR views. I'm not telling you what I think it means at all, except that your excuse is a weak one, especially since you don't know the original Hebrew and you're basing your reading off the English text!

  • there is no "curse mark".

All one has to do is read the bible.

  • @1coolguysuper There is talking snakes and talking bushes, magic which is impossible, a god that is impossible, the sun revolves around the earth, and the earth is 6,000-10,000 years old and flat. slavery instructions as well as selling your daughter, pillaging and raping on behalf of an impossible god, and the list goes on and on. All this is inside the very untrustworthy, flawed, forged as in falsified, filled with immoral concepts of morality, book that is called the bible...

  • @IronicAtheist I don't care about your rant, what does that have to do with the Bible promoting or inspiring racism?

  • @TaylorX04Christians?

Why not be more specific, you mean WHITE Christians.

White people are known for being racist.

  • I think it is important to point out the utterly instrumental role that the Quakers had in the abolition of slavery in Britain and the USA.

Christianity endorsed and supported slavery, but one sect, the Quakers saw it was inhuman and moved to end it.

Consequently as an atheist, the ONLY Christian sect I have much time for are the Quakers, even though they still need to dress up their fine moral conviction with a veneer of demented ancient Jewish mumbo jumbo.

  • @BigMarkusFella You're not understanding the accusations. Watch part 2 for bible passages.

  • The word SLAVE is derived from the european people called SLAVS which means "speaker of their own language"- A foreigner. So could the Bible be referring to foreigners & not those sold into bondage.

  • @Jeorney Seeing how it mentions slaves in context with selling them and also includes comments about selling "your fellow Israelites" as slaves, I'd say that's a definite no.

  • @Jeorney

Actually Slav doesn't mean "speaker of their own language", it is a tribal name and means "the Glorious Ones". This is why the movie "Glory" (the Matthew Broderick/Morgan Freeman one) was so named.

During the 13th Century the Pope declared a Crusade against the Lithuanian Pantheists and the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Teutonic Knights were formed to fight it. They began a genocide against the Slavic peoples who they referred to as "Slaves" whom they sold into serfdom.

  • All those who justify slavery are men, and the type of slaver that was instituted was unlike any kind of slavery known at the time. It is man not

Christianity that is doing the devils work.

The people in power are doing the devils work

  • Do you get into the King James version? From what I know King James created it to be a book of control for the peasants slaves and indentured servants in the new world. Basically telling them to catch hell on earth, and when you die you will have a reward.

  • @YoRBG No, King James didn't create it. He only approved it. And that was in 1611, or so. Even before then the Bible, in whatever form, was still a book to control the masses.

  • @taylor lol u no what I mean

  • find one word in the gospel that says free the slaves

  • @mikeset116 Technically, I think that would have to be three words at minimum, lol.

  • "no expects the spanish inquition" - monty python

  • @TheOpenMinded12460 Jews are not a race. Moses killed so many races that there was hardly anything or anybody left. They lost battle after battle, and they lost Israel and still were and some still are racists though not all are though. Antisemitism is an excuse so we cannot criticize Jews nor Judaism, they are not nor were ever a race. If I said that Atheists were a race, which I am an Atheist, it would be racist. Please tell the ADL, your Rabbi, Priest, and Followers about these videos!

  • @TheOpenminded12460 I agree that there are cases of antisemitism being cried over criticism of Judaism or Israel that is definitely not related to race at all, but to say the Jews are not a race or that all antisemitism is an excuse is just plain ignorant. The Jews belong to the semitic race, hence antisemitism. However, semites aren't only Jews, so there is some confusion. But regardless of technicalities, I don't support discrimination against any group on bullshit stereotypes.

  • Comment removed

  • @TaylorX04 @TheOpenMinded12460 If Jews are a race, if a minority becomes Jewish are the accepted, or a "Chosen Person" / Race. If an Interracial couple has a child are they going to be loved?

What about Christians since they read The Old Testament, should we support Moses if he is this racist?

What about Muslims since they read The Bible, should we support Jesus since he too was a racist jerk in Matthew 15:22-28?

You should visit my channel too. Call them Israelis, or something please.

    Thanks.

  • This is great brah. From one Black brother to a White brother, I am grateful for this. I knew of this but you whole page is informative FYA!

  • @maidenafrica2009 what does FYA mean?

  • christianity is 4 the white surpremasist through the bible theve been killin non christans not just blacks in the name of ther white blue eyed god

  • @ruthless6661 Before that it was Jewish supremacy, wiping out all non-Judaic tribes, and if you watch part 3 of this series, there ARE blacks now using both Christianity and Judaism to endorse their hatred of whites. Racist bullshit smells the same in any form.

  • Racism is addressed in the Bible. Jesus' many references to Samaritans, who were generally considered the rottenest of people during the era, are made with kindness. The Samaritan woman whom he asks for a drink is shocked he talks to her as are those who witness. The Good Samaritan is referenced as kinder and more generous to a put-upon stranger than is a PRIEST!! Its a lesson on how to treat everyone, even those your society holds as "unworthy".

  • @diddymuck And yet Jesus basically called a Canaanite woman a dog in Matthew 15:22-28, and Paul accuses the Jews of killing Jesus and says "they displease God" in 1 Thessalonians 2:14-16. Yes, the bible does address racism, but it is not as condemning of it as you seem to think.

  • @TaylorX04 he doesn't call her a dog; he states his gifts are for his own people...he shouldn't take food and give it to the dogs, in other words, waste his efforts. And remember that Paul was himself a Jew; he was referring obviously to the ruling group that condemned Jesus.

  • @diddymuck The implication is that he's wasting his efforts on a non-Jew, which he affectionately compares to dogs. You'd think the "all-loving" creator of the universe would avoid such discriminating language, but nope.

Also, Paul may have claimed to be a Jew, but why did he say "To the Jews I became a Jew" in 1 Corinthians 9:20 if he was already Jewish? The text does not say the "group that condemned Jesus" either, it says "THE JEWS, who killed the lord Jesus..."

  • @TaylorX04 yes, go ahead, twist, cut, paste, twist even more... maybe you'll get to somehow prove the Bible is racist. The moment you said that Jesus said the Canaanite woman is a dog.... you declared how ignorant and manipulative you are.

  • @6MemoryOfForever9 Please, explain the correct exegesis of the passage for me then. If I'm ignorant and manipulative, and you're the most enlightened 18-year old on the planet, then it should be quite easy to expose where I'm wrong, shouldn't it? But I have this crazy theory that a lot of believers jump to make these sorts of accusations when they can't rebut your arguments, without really having any substantial reasons for objecting beyond "oh, he done criticized mah faith!"

  • @6MemoryOfForever9 tell me one race or colour of people that christians havent killed or inslaved then u will hav ur answer on the bible

  • And further if it says nothing in the Bible about black people being slaves or Ham being turn black, then how can the bilge these "experts" you quote be "Bible-based beliefs"??? They're liars who rewrite the Bible to fit their needs, much like yourself!

  • @diddymuck Point me to any part in this video where I say "the bible teaches that blacks should be slaves". Nope, instead I'm only discussing what some people believed the bible said about certain races. Did they rewrite the bible? I think so, but before you get too defensive of the bible, you ought to watch part two.

  • @TaylorX04 YOU AVOIDED THE QUESTION. I'll ask AGAIN...if it says nothing in the Bible about black people being slaves or Ham being turned black, then how can the bilge these "experts" you quote be "Bible-based beliefs"???

  • @diddymuck It's "bible-inspired", retard, and regardless of your personal feelings on what the bible says, they clearly believed it endorsed their prejudices.

  • you take one quote about Ham seeing his father nude and getting cursed and then use dozens of non-biblical quotes from dorks who say the curse was being turned into a black man. Where in the BIBLE does it say he turned black???? The Bible says nothing about black people being enslaved. You creep.

  • @diddymuck As I've already explained to you, this is a series about how people have interpreted the bible in racist ways, NOT how racist the bible is. I agree that people project their own prejudices into the bible sometimes, and it says nothing about blacks being enslaved, but you're projecting those claims onto me, when I'm doing nothing of the sort. Face the mirror, my hypocritical friend.

  • i think there is this common misconception that the bible shares a message of equality among all when its quite the opposite. the bible spread a message of separatism and segregation. wether it be between different races and nationalities, different religious groups , gender, sexuality and age. this wouldn't be so surprising if people would realize the bible was written by fallible men and not an omniscient god.

  • @B4mytyme Well said.

  • where's the part in the Bible about racism? This are quotes from fatheads trying to justify their abuse of people in general.

  • @diddymuck That's why it's "bible-inspired racism" and not "racism in the bible".

  • @diddymuck Bible racism is very present. Gentiles are like dogs compared to Jews. Honestly, if you read the bible, you will feel non-Jewish very quickly if you aren't a Jew. It is fairly condescending to Gentiles and it is one the reasons that made me question the bible (skepticism) as someone who was once a christian. I later realised that racism was the least of my concerns after reading the bible, 3 times front to back cover. The more you read, the worse it is.

  • @TheOpenMinded12460 This is an excuse to get away with racism. How can you "choose" to be black, white, yellow, red, brown, and/or tan? You cannot, the sun is believed to have made skin darker or a mutation is believed to make skin darker or whiter. Here are other issues with this, in Christianity, you choose your sexuality, your color, your race, and in Leviticus it say's you choose to be raped, and you will go to Hell because, you are no longer a Virgin. Notice your gender is no choice.

  • The most famous slave market was in Mecca during Muhammad's day. Black people stolen from African's villages were austioned off like cattle. This same slave market in Mecca was still being used for buying and selling black slaves untill the late 1960s!

  • In the Sudan, , the Muslim slave market has been revived as blacks in chains from the Dinka tribe were only a few years ago being auctioned off to Muslim masters. In Arabic the common word for "Black" is "Abd" which also means "Slave."

  • In 1992, a book written by Jean Sasson shook the Muslim world. It was entitled Princess because it was the true story of a Saudi Princess in her own words. In her auto-biography she revealed the fact that her Muslim family had many bleack slaves.

    On page 29, we read:

[ We owned a family of Sudanese slaves. Our slaves population increased each year when Father returned from Haj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca made by Muslims, with new slave children.]

  • The Haj is the greatest religious event in all Islim. And what do the Muslims do on their Haj? Buy more black slave children.

  • @manutdsalfordreds You can change any book as a matter of fact how many times was the bible changed huh??? One book that was never changed in these three religions was the Quran people tried to change it but they couldn’t because of the way it was written everything rhymes which makes it even harder to change. If anyone tries to change anything in the Quran it would be obvious because most Muslims memorize the whole thing

  • @77moemoe The bible has never been changed the dead sea scrolls prove this.Did you know there was lots of different versions of the Quran in the early day of that religion ALL DIFFERENT.But they changed it to 1.Islam is bull shit made up by mohammed.Allah was the pagan rock go of the arabs before islam. The black rock of the kaa'baa its still there in mecca. You need to read a history book. And everything i know and learnt is from a arab historian

  • @77moemoe I take it you never read the hadith

  • Even if we wrongly assume that Islam started in Africa and that its Prophet was a black man, this still wouldn't in itself be a good reason for Blacks to adopt Islam. Nor would it be a good reason for Whites to adopt Islam just because Mohammed was white. We have to look at Islam itself.

  • @manutdsalfordreds Islam stopped slavery dude. When slavery was still in the America Muslims didn’t have such a thing we would treat blacks and whites as equals. My grandpa has the whole Quran memorized. Allah made people in many different races and colors and you’re over here saying things that you’re not sure of. Islam is not what it may appear in your point of view most people say that we don’t believe in Jesus but we believe in him as an important prophet in Islam.

  • @77moemoe Don't talk complete bullshit the british an the royal navy stopped savery the royal navy freed slaves we stood up for what is right.Muslims was the behind the slave trade selling to the west its a historical fact

  • @manutdsalfordreds thier is a big diffrence between arabs and whites its a whole diffrent race!!!!!!!

  • @77moemoe I didn't say he wasn't.Whats your point

  • View my Lesson 202- Decoding the Go-Spells. I’m addressing political and social agendas beneath the texts of the Bible. It’s 10-parts, so I loaded them in my ‘playlists’ for convenience. My views and analysis are controversial to a lot of people, but this is not my concern. I strictly promote Free Thinking. Think for Yourself. Judge for Yourself.

  • to taylorx04, as a black man, i have to thank you

  • What a moron this presenter is. I bet he is of islamic faith. Yeah, the islamic faith is more compassionate. Besides enlaving you they also kill you.

  • Wow, you're an assuming little cocksucker, aren't you? I am an atheist, and I've done several anti-Islamic videos actually. I can see that you're just butthurt by the simple implication that your faith has been connected to racism and slavery, but the truth does hurt. I also find it hilarious that all you can come up with is ad hominem.

  • @mexman48 is was islam that started slavery. They started the black slave trade of africa and at the same time muslims was sailing up to the coast of england kidnaping and slaving white people.Mohammed had slaves and sex slaves everywhere he conqured

  • @manutdsalfordreds I think he was trying to insult me through poor sarcasm.

  • @manutdsalfordreds Slavery was going on way before Islam even started.

  • @manutdsalfordreds that is soo not true in the quran it states that there is no diffrence between a black or a white man accept by his worship. so its a matter of how strong your relationship with God/Allah is. Don't say bs ur not aware of because im sure u never even read our quran. one more thing smart ass islam is an arabic word & it means peace and were not alowed to have sex before marrige, kill, drink alchole even gamble and all of these things lead to bad endings are forbiddin for us.

  • @77moemoe Mohammed Owned Black Slaves

Mohammed owned several black slaves. Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya relies heavily on the prophet's biographies written by great ancient scholars. Therefore, he is regarded by Muslims as an authority, a primary source and a leader among the students of Islamic religion. This scholar tells us in his book, "Zad al-Ma'ad" (part 1, pp. 114-116), the following:

  • @77moemoe "These are the names of Muhammad's male slaves: Yakan Abu Sharh, Aflah, 'Ubayd, Dhakwan, Tahman, Mirwan, Hunayn, Sanad, Fadala Yamamin, Anjasha al-Hadi, Mad'am, Karkara, Abu Rafi', Thawban, Ab Kabsha, Salih, Rabah, Yara Nubyan, Fadila, Waqid, Mabur, Abu Waqid, Kasam, Abu' Ayb, Abu Muwayhiba, Zayd Ibn Haritha, and also a black slave called Mahran."

Even in modern times, in Saudi Arabia the homeland of Islam, the common word for "Black" is "Abd" meaning slave.

  • @77moemoe What was Mohammed's position on freeing the slaves?

In one instance , a man freed a slave that he kept as a sexual partner. When Mohammed heard what happened, he auctioned the boy and sold him for 800 derhams to Na-eem Ebn Abdullah Al- Nahham. (Sahih Moslem vol. 7, page 83)

  • @77moemoe Also you are saying English history is not true by saying muslim turks never sailed up to the coast of cornwall and kidnapped women and children as slaves this happened during the black slave trade

  • @77moemoe Islam Looked Down on Blacks

Islam is a religion, whose sacred Scriptures contain explicit denigrating remarks about Black people.

Mohammed referred to Blacks as "raisin heads". (Sahih Al Bukhary vol. 1, no. 662 and vol. 9, no. 256).

In another Hadith, Mohammed is quoted as saying that Blacks are, "pug-nosed slaves". (Sahih Moslem vol. 9 pages 46 and 47).

  • @manutdsalfordredsIslam stopped slavery dude.

  • @manutdsalfordreds Islam invented Slavery? WTF. Slavery is rife in the Bible and Christianity predates Islam by about 600 years. Of course, since then Muslims and Christians have been equally to blame for the shameful act of slavery. One has to wonder why JC never had the nouse to renounce slavery. Some moral priophet, eh.

  • @pilgrimpater of course jesus did you wrong'un do you know the teachings of jesus idiot

  • @manutdsalfordreds Who is Jesus idiot? Never heard of him.

  • @pilgrimpater "Yeshua" if you never heard of him mybe you should

  • @manutdsalfordreds Nah, been there done it, got the teeshirt. Won't get fooled again. By the way, what are the passages where JC (not JI) condemns slavery? And for that fact paedophilia etc?

  • @pilgrimpater Are you dumb if you follow the teaching of jesus you know right from wrong

  • @manutdsalfordreds Nah. Don't need some ancient superstitious writings to know right from wrong.

  • @pilgrimpater well each to there own mate.Just read you're profile on you're channel

What you say is right in a way.I also think church and state is right to be seperate because there are to many people out there that take religion too far like the brainwashed muslims that incites hatred

  • @manutdsalfordreds Absolutely. I have no problem with religion as long as it remains a personal spiritual experience. Although the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful (we don't judge the Irish by the IRA do we), in Islamic countries there is no seperation from religion and state. I fear that this is what the extreme right fundie Christians are aiming for too. Let's hope it happens neither there not here.

  • @pilgrimpater the extreme right are not Christian they just use the name.Islam is a ploitical movement only when you read the Quran do you understand. They wan't settle till they get a Islamic world the Quran demands a islamic world

  • @manutdsalfordreds And the Bible doesn't encourage spreading the word? That's why we had the crusades. That's why we have missionaries in South America and Africa and that's why i have Jehova's Witnesses and Mormons on my doorstep (not that i mind as i can pwn them so easily). All religions are convinced they are right and of course their ideal is to have the whole world adhere to their own specific religion. I don't agree of course but i understand.

  • @pilgrimpater Christianity is spread by the mouth islam is spread by the sword and always have been. You should see how christians get treated in muslim countrys. The whole religion is based on hate made by a pedophile, rapist.alduterer

    mass murderer,war monger,thief,blasphmour,false prophet mohammehed

  • @manutdsalfordreds Wow & i have seen almost word for word Moslems accuse Christians of the same thing. That's the irony i can observe from outside. I don't think that we can consider the Crusaders as gentle "word of mouth" people. I have worked with Moslems & visited a Moslem country many times. Not once have they demonstrated any violence especially because not once have they tried to convert me. Don't judge all Moslems by the extremists just as i don't judge all Christians by Hitler.

  • @pilgrimpater The crusades was by the catholics (false christians) and hitler was backed by the pope the catholic religion is not true christianity even the bible warns against the catholics. They have commited more murdrers and descrution than anything regime in history

  • @manutdsalfordreds The catholics false Christians? You kidding? Apart from some of the Eastern Orthodox churches, all sects of Christianity were spawned from the Catholic Church including Lutherism. They believe in the virgin birth, the miracles of JC and the ressurection. That makes them Christian in anybody's book.

  • @pilgrimpater You're totally wrong the bible in the book of revelations warns against the catholics .The catholics are false christian they use to persecute true christians who would not follow there church. The romans never changed there religion just gave it a christian face lift to control the masses. They also give out wrong teaching they forgive sins when can't ,They worship idols when the bible forbids they worship mary when they shouln't

  • @manutdsalfordreds Without the Holy Roman Empire (Catholic Church), christianity would be a minority sect represented only by Orthodoxy. Does Revelations realy warn against a group of people, whose religion is based upon the firm belief that JC gave his life for our sins & who believe in the holy trinity? I think not, unless you want to quote the passages. Are you telling me Protestants never burned Catholics at the stake? Are the KKK Protestants or Catholics? Did Xianity start with Luther?

  • @pilgrimpater According to the bible in the book of revelations (which is about the end days) the catholic church is the whore off babylon it even says "for the woman is a city which is on 7 hills" now google the city of 7 hills and see what comes up.Catholicsm is false christianity. It was set up by simon magnus who was rejected by jesus deciples

  • @manutdsalfordreds You missed the point. Revelations does not point to Catholics. It does not mention the Catholics by name. It does not forecast the Catholics preceding what you would call true Christians. The bottom line is that allegegience and obedience to JC as the saviour is at the very core of the Catholic Church. That cannot be denied and all the rituals that surround the Catholic faith are totally irrelevant. I bet you wouldn't make such comments on Catholics to Roy Keane.

  • @pilgrimpater they also call mary the queen of heaven which was the title of the greek godess hera the roman goddes jupitor. The vatican itself is built on a accient satanic temple janus. They create false teaching they are the reason people baptise children when children are without sin any way.Jesus didn't get baptise till he was 30 you're only suppose to get baptised when you're old enough to understand the gospel and be reborn again. The catholics like islam has to many pagan ways

  • @manutdsalfordreds Xmas is built around a Pagan Holiday. So what. THe basics for all Christianity is a) Virgin birth, b) Miracles of JC, c) resurrectiion d) believef in the Holy Trinity. That's it. Any differences in method of worship are totally irrelevant as long as those criteria are met. This is born out by the fact that even without the Catholic church there are still hundreds of sects within the rest of Christianity. All with their own interpretation but all accepting the listed criteria.

  • @manutdsalfordreds I checked your profile too. Too much hatred for a Christian towards Scousers when all they require is pity. Can't agree about Torres though. When fit he is mega regardless of who he plays for. Just heard a volcano has erupted in Liveerpool. They are going to call it "KillAManForHisGiro".

  • @pilgrimpater hahaha correct i should pity them because they are a deluded lot they think there gonna win thee league again noe they got roy hodgson hahahahaha deluded or what 3rd rate manager

  • @manutdsalfordreds @TheOpenMinded12460 It is also believed that Judaism started slavery.

  • As long as you work for someone else you're still a slave, and as long as you're paying taxes you're a slave to the government. So most of us are slaves or have been slaves for most of our lives.

  • First of all, I am a proponent of tax reform and I firmly believe in "no taxation without representation". However, the fact that we pay taxes to the government doesn't make us slaves anymore than we are slaves to the jobs we work. Unlike real slavery, we get a paycheck and we get to go home after hours. Similarly, the government puts some of our tax dollars to use in things we take advantage of, like public transportation, fire departments, libraries, etc.

  • @TaylorX04 You forgot welfare ,foreign aid, they account for Billions

  • (cont'd) There's really no comparison between taxation and slavery, unless you want to water down slavery to something it has never really meant. Lastly, even IF we were all slaves to something or other (in a meaningful sense), that has absolutely no bearing on the bible's questionable teachings surrounding slavery (the kind that IS of meaningful sense).

  • Not every law in the bible is a divine law. The particular popular biblical quotes you used to show how iniquitous the bible is are from old Jewish law. They are ordained by man, not God, and in a very uncivilized time. "In the Bible legal, moral, and religious laws are inseparable, showing God's concern for life as a whole." Christians must follow the law of the land, seeing as old Jewish law is no longer the law of the land we no longer have to abide by it.

  • There were plenty of quotes from the New Testament, but Matthew 5:17-19 has Jesus instructing his followers to continue observing the Hebrew law until "heaven and earth disappear". It was never an issue of what the law of the land was. The Hebrew law is called perfect and eternal in Psalms, Deuteronomy, and other books. Christianity came along and distorted Judaism's religious ideals by plugging itself in to their concept of the messiah.

  • I think Exodus plainly describes God's position on slavery, with the story of Moses, the Jews, and their deliverance from the Pharaoh's oppression. I would expect someone as smart as you to be able to see the obvious distinction between the two different forms of slavery, and how God supports one, and not the other.

  • Well, if God does make a distinction, it's only that his chosen nation cannot be enslaved, but all others can. And wasn't he the same god who allowed them to be taken captive by foreign nations, NUMEROUS times, as punishment for disobedience?

  • As well as the slavery mentioned later in the New Testament, refers to the sort of servants/slaves a household would have, say the centuries past of England where it was common for even the modest homeowners to have several servants/slaves. No, they were not paid, but they were usually people who came from no money, and being a slave was better than having no place to go.

  • There have probably always been slaveowners that were not so brutal by comparison, but the lesser of two evils is still evil, and owning a person as property is inexcusable.

  • This is definitely a very interesting video. The first part just explains that many men have read the bible with their own interpretation to satisfy their prejudices. The following two parts did not succeed in proving to me that the bible is racist, only that man is racist. (Some men) I used to have a lot of trouble with what the bible says about slavery, and in my research, as well I speaking with pastors I found out that the slavery mentioned in The Law (Leviticus, Deuteronomy)

  • I'm not at all claiming that the bible is racist. If you'll note the title, "bible-inspired racism" is very different than "racism in the bible", for example. I agree that people have read the bible with their own prejudices in mind, but that's Christians who claim that it is against slavery make the same unsupported interpretations. Even moreso though, I would argue, because the bible NEVER denounces slavery.

  • Egypt was not a White civilization!

  • Did I say Egypt was a white civilization? No, I said Egypt had a variety of peoples in it, and this is testified to by countless inscriptions and reliefs we have found from ancient Egypt. Yes, there were lots of dark-skinned people in Egypt, but it was not exclusively so.

  • Funny, because white supremacists use the exact same verse to also say modern Jews are not the true Jews. But then they claim white Europeans are the real descendants of Israel. Rev. 2:9 is anti-semitic, like a lot of the New Testament. So what?

  • Acts 21:37-39 And as Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto thee? Who said, Canst thou speak Greek? ART NOT THOU THAT EGYPTIAN, which before . . .

    . . . But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew . . .

  • What, do you think all Egyptians were black? Have you ever actually looked at the reliefs in Egyptian temples? There are light-skinned, red-haired, and blond-haired people illustrated among them.

  • Ah, so there's been a global white conspiracy to hide the ethnicity of Egyptians? Yeah, you're done. Go preach your bigoted hatred someplace else. You have no evidence for your assertions, not scientific evidence nor evidence from the bible.

  • I think it is time to clear out some confusion. Ancient Egypt was a country of mixed heritage. There was often two countries. Lower Egypt near the Mediterranean, and Upper Egypt at the south (often included parts of what is now Sudan). Upper Egypt had lots of contacts with people further south, both peaceful, and hostile. Some of its dynasties where most likely of Ethiopian or Sudanic origin.

In short, vulgar and simplified terms: The northern part was more "white", the southern more "black".

  • But, since Moses and the rest of the Hebrews were a Black skinned people, this would have been a very powerful miracle, to turn his hand (skin) the opposite colour to the rest of his flesh.

  • Yes Esau was born red and hairy did you ever think to wonder why the bible made mention of this color red? Easu's color was not like his brother father or mother's color which was brown! Exodus 4:6 Moses hand was turned Moses is told to put his hand into his bosom and when he takes it back out, it is LEPROUS (white) as snow. If Moses was already white-skinned, what would have been the miracle in turning his hand white?

  • Point me to any passage that says Esau's brother and parents were brown. Assuming there is any such passage, it flies in the face of what we know about genetics and heredity. The miracle in Moses' hand being turned leprous is that it was TURNED LEPROUS. Nothing in the verse indicates that the miracle was related to skin color, but it was miraculous because his normal and healthy hand was turned diseased and decrepit. Nice try reinventing scripture, but no dice.

  • The true Jews are Black the bible is our book, those Ashkenazi Jew-ish people our Germanic tribe converts. So we have a curious case of Identity theft! Now remember the blasphemy of those that call themselves Jews but are not!? Ahhh the entire bible is basicly about Black people who are the progenitor of the races.

  • I cover these racist lies in the third part of this series. There is scientific evidence that modern Jews are not "impostors", and the bible itself contradicts the notion of black Jews being the "true Jews" in how it describes Esau and David as red or red-haired. Your bigoted hatred is just like all racism: totally without logic or evidence.

  • @TaylorX04 no it's not 'bigoted hatred' it's just the TRUTH!!!!

  • Do you believe white people are Edomites?

  • @111, when did the blacks move from Sub-Sarahan Africa to the area around Israel?

  • Lol Christians calling synagogues 'temples of demons of idolatrous cults' that is one of the most amusing things that I've ever read, right next to 'god is love'

  • Another fantastically done video.

  • please lets not use Hitler, that always ends up bad.

  • Generally I would agree, but I think it's perfectly fine when dispelling myths like "Hitler was an atheist". I don't really think it qualifies as "using Hitler" to simply point out that he was far from an atheist. I said nothing in the video to suggest that his Christian beliefs had any role in the atrocities he committed.

  • I would agree, we all know he started a christian but who the hells knows what were his believes at the end. He probably thought that he was a god! lol!

  • @TaylorX04 yes I hate the "hitler was an atheist" argument. Even if he was in his heart, he still got a nation of christian believers to carry out his final solution.

so I would like to know how one atheist gets a nation of loving christians to murder millions of people?

  • Dear Taylor,

This is a wonderful video. Fantastic. Great Job.

    Ebal the Atheist

  • The land of Ham! :D

    Mmmm... Sounds good.

  • @piprod01 lol hilarious

  • Ten stars for this series, BRAVO Taylor.

  • thorough, well-informed, well-documented, level-headed.

    great job, as usual.

this particular topic was one of the first three or four primary issues that really got me seriously examining, and ultimately rejecting, my Xian faith.
