The device you are using pretty much the same as the laser device Archeologist/crime scene investegators use to make a laser grid, only in a smaller package, but wouldnt putting the speakers near one side wall(one speaker on each side) slightly toed in towards the listener be Ideal placement if the speakers are far enough from the room wall? And the center speaker monted high on the ceiling angled down directly in front?
