Hugs you tightly! That was a request from my parents. Thank you so much for showing me how to prepare these turnip greens. My Daddy loved them so much he called everyone in the family to tell them so. They are 83 years old and know their southern food. So you knocked it out of the park with them! Love and huggies! Of, and I am off to get the beef neck bones now. Thank you for solving that mystery for me. :)

@Onlymanolos Oh and the way you cook that meal..... if you don't know is to cook your bones first and season them with salt and pepper...and sliced onions. add water as necessary.... while it cooks.. because the water will cook off...when they are tender..... add your rice to the pot and cook it until your rice is done......

Oh man oh man, does that remind me of my mom's almuerzo on the island (Puerto Rico)--garden greens 10 minutes of the turnips, with shredded goat meat and, of course, garlic, garlic, and some garlic. Then some garlic to make sure. Cornbread, you bet your ass. And yellow rice.
