Thank god I don't live next door! - I don't want to have to put him or his house out when they burst into flames! Aerosol cans & tins of god knows what on the bench - nylon runners & socks - light cotton shirt and all next to the family car! Good luck for a long & healthy retirement.
I personally was not wearing a mask/visor...I was handling the camera about 15-20 feet away. I was not looking at the arc directly, but rather through the camcorder lens. I know and understand that the light is very intense and can cause permanent eye damage. Wearing a mask/visor is a definite must during welding!

im not an expert but judging from the way the slag was sitting over the bead it looked kinda bad.. pretty sure you moved a bit too fast
