oh my god, those white specs of light, round are really suspended in the air, and create their own light, as if lighting the ground even brighter, i wish someone a more powerful telescop as to able to tell what those things look like
Very impressive! Especially when you anchor the scope, and allow the Earth's rotation to"move" the Moon from left to right across the screen! So close, it reminds me of the Eagle as it descended towards Tranquility Base -- One small step for Man -- One giant leap for Mankind!! Well done!
20cm Newtonian reflector on a dobsonian base. 1250mm focal length and 9mm lens for 133x magnification. Shot using a Casio Exilim via afocal attachment.
Fuck that is crazy close. scary! Good pic! Im getting a scope but before i get one can i let you know what it is and tell me what you think of it. I know the one you have is expensive
you must have 100 million dollars in equipment i say that because i saw some of the images nasa just released
and its just blows my mind that we give them billions of dollars and they give us crap my $1000 scope and $200 cam i get images that show canyons mountians
that i have never seen from nasa from what they show you would think the moon is a smooth round ball
why does that light at the moon fade when the telescope move from the left..? do that telescope has a flash light that can travel throug galaxy without anyone notice? or its just me? ^^ sory but your vid is great, it's just that i wondering why that light fade..
Is there a particular reason why you put that dust particle on the lens?

No worries mate. A good telescope is pretty cheap these days. Get into it - there's lots of cool stuff to see up there.

Someone said the Austrailian telescope now has adapters strong enough to see if any Apollo program remnants show up. Is this true?
EGMAG 2 years ago
there would never be a scope earth based that could focus in on it :( but it would be a nice sight if you could

Hi reyzuna. I don't quite understand you question. My telescope has no special illumination device, it just captures light as normal.

wow i wanna go there

What kind of telescope are you using?
eishiba 3 years ago
A 20cm Newtonian reflector with 1200mm focal length
cubicspacedivision 3 years ago
So could you explain to me how a 6"Newtonian reflector with 1400mm focal length would compare with yours and why?
eishiba 3 years ago
6 inches = 15.2cm, so it's a smaller mirror but with a longer tube. Not a huge difference between them really...
cubicspacedivision 3 years ago
very good detail
Thanks for sharing.

Nice capture. You seem to have had a clearer night and fuller moon than I did when I took my video. Good job.
