Pretty much everybody I've worked with has been belittled, including me. It's impossible to avoid, no matter how reasonable you are. Too many people with problems out there lol

You know what would happen at TJ Maxx a lot? People that were returning things would NOT see the Returns sign and get in the regular purchase line, so when they came up to us they would say "I have to wait in line again!??"

Thing is, only two registers can do returns, we couldn't return if we wanted to. Of course this would happen when we were busy, I always tried to keep on eye out for them in the regular purchase line in order to prevent such things.

I had someone get angry at me because warranty would not cover the fact her son had vomited all over her computer. I had to deal with her for over half an hour, explaining what a warranty covers and what it doesn't cover while she screamed and yelled.
