Lol haha I really wish I could see it though but I can't because well I don't have channel 8 to watch skating with the stars I saw it once at a friends house and I like o my gosh I need to get this channel but dad won't let me...well thanks for the update Melissa...o and great job to dennis and sean young for going on the ice like that I would be really nervous if that was me (what bravery!) well I'll catch up next week!!

I think the first big change that needs to be made is kicking the Brit host to the curb! Most of the skaters I know changed the channel because they couldn't take that idiot any more.

I really enjoyed the show, and my favorites were Rebecca and Jonny--though I think Denis is a great partner for Sean, too, and I'm looking forward to seeing Bethenny skate more. Some critics say non-skating fans wouldn't enjoy the show, though I can't see why. DWTS got people into ballroom dancing.What do you think of the size of the ice, Melissa? It definitely limited Johnny Weir's performance, but maybe it works well for the beginners.

@justathoughtable The ice was smaller compared to regular NHL or Olympic size rinks but the set was absolutely stunning! Very cleaver and unique to have ice in the round! Completely magical in person

Hi Melissa...really interested in how Sean and Vince progress as I am in their age group and just returning to ice skating myself (after several decades away from it) with an eye on Adult dance. People who don't skate have no idea how difficult it is to just do forward stroking when not used to being on the ice! Denis did a great job bringing Sean along and I hope they stay on the show throughout! Would love to see you, Denis and Johnny reprise your Fallen Angels routine on the show!

Hi Melissa, thanks for the inside scoop! :) ITA, Jonny Moseley was my favorite of the stars, he had such great energy and was so much fun to watch. And I love TeamDenis! He really made her look beautiful on the ice, and good for her for skating so elegantly when she was so nervous! Of course my favorite part of the show was Johnny Weir, he is so funny and sweet :) Loved his performance, even though I was scared for him because the ice is so tiny! So he should be on as much as possible, lol.

I agree that what the TV audience watched is not exactly what those of us in the live audience saw. I don't know if it was the angle of the filming, but some integral quality was lost in translation. One thing for sure that causes a lot of the power to be diminished is the ridiculously small size of the rink.

I thought all of the celeb skaters did very well. Certainly some did better than others, but I was impressed with the courage of all of them.

Thoughts: Can we please NOT give Tanith a script? She sounds so much better just commenting naturally and all of her lines seemed very forced an awkward. I'm on the fence about the British dude (no idea who he is and I think this might hurt the show in the end. People knew Tom B.(DWTS) from America's Funniest videos). And hated Lauriann... Felt she added nothing in terms of judges.

I'm hoping the next episode goes much better as this felt really choppy. Too many commericals.
