this scene literally broke my heart, Anna Torv did an incredible job in this quick scene, its all in her eyes she looks absolutely devestated finding out about peter. Ann Torv is amazing!!
just started watching marathon-style for a few days ago, and this was a really heartbreaking moment, especially as Olivia was so happy just before! love the show though cant wait to finish off season 2 and tuck into 3!
@theultimateotaku In this episode Walter gives Olivia Cortexiphan again. And then she has to be scared to activate her abilities. She is scared then the first time since ever and so she can see the things from the alt-universe including Peter.
seriously? people were surprised? I knew this was the case since halfway through season 1! if anything theyve been slow at revealing what i already knew (in detail)
@Katbee1 i cant believe people didnt see it coming, they had flashbacks and an infinite number of clues right from the first few episodes, soon as we saw peters grave people should have known "oh, peter died? so our peter must be from the alternate universe right?"
@SnoocheeBoochees- Or maybe Walter cloned Peter? Cloning is a big thing these days. They did it on Smallville when a major character "supposedly" blew up in a car and we are under the impression that she was dead. it was then that we found out that that character was cloned.
A lot of major characters die in these sci-fi shows ( Buffy and Charmed did it ALL the time) but did that mean they are from the alternate universe?
BTW, just because something was known doesn't mean it isn't significant. Yes, it was already shown that Peter was from the alternate universe, why do people have to act like, "oh it was known, NEXT!"
That news is not something the writers will just ignore.

It would have been STUPID to skip the whole "Peter from the other side" storyline, since first of all, it was the cliffhanger from season 1 finale, second, OF COURSE I was dying to hear the end of it! I love Fringe and how they manipulate stories, punches and relationships
That Peter is from the parrallel universe. Walter lost his son when he was a child so he went to the other side and took evil-Walter's son. All the bad things Peter thought Walter did to him as a child were actually what evil-Walter did.
Wow they can act really nice... Look at Olivia's eyes and you'll see she is amazing!
