my brother has 2 of those sabers, but the fixed blades. now, the one tube got broken at the halfway point. and do you think i could find a replacement tube? hell no, they made them, but you can never find them when you want them. anyway, i took it apart, removed the light string, and replaced it with an led flashlight head, replaced some burned out resistors, and turned a $180 prop, into a $60 flashlight. the "flashsaber" was a real hit with the london rouges group here in Ontario,

@Channelreboot Personally, I like this one better because it's sleeker than Luke's, however the luke blade fits into it's hilt a lot tighter than this one. That's the disadvantage of Anakin's being the first lightsaber they experimented with for the removable blade design.

I think you mention this, but thought I'd check with you anyway. I just received my Vader removable blade from Amazon today. The blade looks OK, but I'm not sure if what I'm seeing means there's a prob with the LEDs. If you look at it pretty close, you can see some darker bands between the brighter parts. Also, right at the tip of the blade, there's also a darker spot, and the ball right at the tip does not appear to be fully lit. Is this normal???

@XXFancyPantsJrXX The blade itself won't physically damage the way you describe (unless you're really trying to cause it to) but you run the risk of breaking one of the internal 64 LEDs inside the blade tube.

@uburton Honestly, it's less sturdy than the other Force FX with Removable Blades, just because the blade is being held in by a single pin as opposed to having the emitter screw in over the blade to keep it held down. That being said, the saber is still very sturdy, just less so than the others.

You know what ? Maybe you'll not anwser me, because you'll think that it's not a serious question, but I can tell you that it is: how did you learn the trick at 4:01, when you turn the lightsaber on your back ? The same trick that Hayden used in Episode III.

@HHamza1989 if you can use nunchaku's, you can utilize alot of that technique with the FX Lightsabers (like I do), and it looks like your a true 'Jedi'! Lots of fun if your a 'Star Wars Geek' like me (lol)! I used to make my own Anakin/Luke Saber handles when i was about 13 using paper towel tubes, duct tape, electrical tape, rivets, and paint--wish they had these vback then...now I'm 40--and I'm STILL ecstatic that they make these! 2 thumbs UP!

P.S.-anyone remember the 'Force Beam' back then?

You can dual with the swords but be a bit carefull... the blade is made from a hard kind of plastic so you can hit the other blade of the other sword but not to hard or it can break or it can mess up the sound system of the blade (what happend to me :P)

Lol okay nvm... It's written in the manual that the dark spot in the middle is normal -_- Well I feel a bit better lol :) But still I find the loose blade a bit annoying and It's sad the light-up effect isn't as natural as the older lightsabers, but it's a detail, friends and family won't see it :)

I just got mine from Thinkgeek... The blade doesn't seem 100% blue, there's some darker spots and wanted to know if it's normal. I know broken LEDs does that but I don't think it's broken. On camera it doesn't even appear because it's not a big thing. Any words on that? It's my first lightsaber so.... Also, the clash sound doesn't work much, the blade is loose, there's a light up delay and I was expecting a better motion sensor, but It looks like every Anakin removable blade are like that.
